    Just a note about Vitacost - be wary that if for ANY reason the stuff you order doesn't get sent, they will not refund shipping nor resend the items.

    I recently ordered a tub of protein, fat calipers and a shaker. Only the fat calipers were packaged and shipped. It was NOT customs that seized the products, but Vitacost simply did not pack the other items to ship. They refunded me the cost of the items but it still ended up costing me over $10 to ship $2 fat calipers.

    According to them, it is their policy that for all International Orders they will NOT resend items nor refund shipping. The cost is for you to bear even if it is their mistake.

      They will refund shipping cost if you speak to a supervisor and demand it. I know as it happened to me a few days ago and I spoke to someone and the entire shipping cost was refunded.

      But you have to demand it. To be honest I like vitacost. I order from them so often. 10% of my orders may have issues but I am saving $100s of dollars and I get everything resolved if I contact support via chat and speak to a supervisor.

        serious?? i feel jipped now. i spoke to them on live chat, and through multiple emails and all they did was apologize and say unfortunately their policy with international orders is that they cannot refund shipping costs nor can they resend the items.

      I have no idea why someone would vote negative on this comment but I had the same thing which happened to me. I have sent them many emails regarding this issue and was constantly ignored. I have opened a paypal dispute as it is now my last option.

      Terrible customer service and stealing money is what vitacost is all about. For that I will have to vote negative.

      Be careful about placing your next order with vitacost
