pickup OW 4 handsets and 2 base's $58. pay with any card or cash

    • not sure having 2 sets is the same as having a set of 4, would this not mean the 2 bases are both connected to phone ports, and then the other handsets are zoned into either base?

im not a phone expert, and happy to be proven wrong.

Another thing is these dual sets are clearance items at office work, so not available at many stores.

      • You should be able to reprogram the phone to another base.

I know I can do it on an el-cheapo Uniden. I don't see why this would be any different.

        • +1 dect => handsets should be able to be registered to any one dect base and so interconnected, use remaining base as recharger only

    • Are the phone book and call history shared by all handsets, or individual handset maintains its own copy? I have an older model of Telstra wireless phone and these are independent on the handsets, really annoying.

  • How is the voice quality of this phone?

    • With DECT, you don't need to worry about this.

  • This set was $69 pickup at Kmart last week. I think the standard price there is $79

  • Do people still use landline/home phones?!?

    • haha definitely! but what i hate is most of these wireless ones are bad for tele-conference cause of battery limitations.

I would like something with a either a speaker phone base, a wired set for the base or supports headsets.

    • Yes. I've been running VoIP for the past few years and so have my parents - free calls and also acts as a back up in case I reach my mobile cap limit for the month with all my international calls.
