    Wow I just tried that Lovedays alcoholic ginger beer last night from my local Woolies Liquor. $7 per 500ml bottle on "special".
    Looks like I got reamed.

      I have been similarly saddened by that old soapy flavour. Ginger Beard is another one that seems to be brewed at the same train station urinal as Loveday's.
      Have you tried Crabbies? Now that's gooooooood.

    Lovedays is nice if you like a light non spicy ginger beer. Very resfreshing in this weather.

    BUT NOTE - I am pretty sure this is the stock that has EXPIRED (which they should MAKE KNOWN). I bought 2 cases last week, and didn't know until I read somewhere else.

    Still tastes nice, but it's expired and HENCE so cheap.

      Yeah, totally agree if it is past the use by/best before - Should absolutely advise this!!
      However, I'll be price matching at Dan's and expect their stock to be OK.

      Yes I bought the Ginger Beer, the Scotch and the Beer in one hit which was very nice of them but finding out these are out of date is just tantamount to theft.
      Why can't they advertise these are past their best before and the reason they will only accept Cash with no electronic paper trail is to make the money and tell the ATO they disposed of old stock in the true spirit of Pay More get Less this Convict Nation was built on!
