Just received the Jetstar Friday Frenzy email fares. Looks like some reasonable ones this week.
Melbourne to Kuala Lumpur for $222 seems to stand out but your mileage may vary depending on your departure location.

Deals run from 4pm - 8pm Friday 15th March.

      That's when its severely limited (East Holidays). The sale dates are 28 March - 8 May for most routes

    First time trying these 'sales' and am pretty pissed off. It's typical bait and hook.

    So, tried the $9 Brisbane to Newcastle flights.

    +$10 each seat
    +$36 booking fee

    Rip off.

      The $10 for seat selection should be optional…and can avoid the booking fee by paying using direct deposit

      …those fees are ridiculous so I never pay with CC for Jetstar any more…

      the $10 seat is optional, just don't pick a seat.
      you don't have to pay the booking fee either, just use POLI/bpay

    Melbourne to KL for 222 sounded good..then when you check flight dates and the cheapest flights… most of them require at least 1 stop, some 2. Most stop at Singapore + Darwin or just Singapore. Total travel time was loooooooong!

      Not when you booked on their last sale and ended up having to pay $300 for the same flights.. bugger! Still good though in any case.
