14

I actually got mine for $649 as delivery was free it is not anymore.

Looks like a really great droid phone with average battery life most reviews have claimed the battery has been better than the specs lasting 1.5 days of normal use instead of 1 day.

Should put "Xperia Z" in title.

    • -1

It is and always was ???

      • +1

To be fair to sol3x (who probably should have reported rather than negged) the title did appear to be missing a Z when first posted

The site makes no mention whether it's grey stock or local. If it is local, it is more expensive than Telstra ($620 odd). Edit: It is only a few dollars less than Voda, $679 outright.

    • +2

where did you see telstra selling it for $620? or even vodafone for $679

      • +1

Its not 620… I thought it was as well, i read it on some review but its wrong.

They're selling the Xperia ZL (or whatever its called… the non water resistant one) for $620. The Xperia Z will go for RRP ($749 if i remember correctly).

Nobody in Oz is selling the ZL.

Telstra have said they will sell the Z for $624 outright… http://exchange.telstra.com.au/2013/03/14/work-hard-play-har…

GIven that will have a 2 year warranty, id say no deal.

        • cool great price from telstra, just wait to see if they will have stock for outright purchase when that come.

        • ZL is not coming to Australia

        • thanks stumo for the link, wondering where all the -ve come from for my comment…

  • lol ozbargainer made their rep crap his pant last time they posted this

  • +1

Nice price, but anybody know about the company? Couldn't find an ABN, and the site is riddled with spelling mistakes

  • -1

If you don't trust The company make a PayPal payment … simple .

Telstra won't let you buy that cheap outright I went in and asked it will be sony's RRP of $749

    • just go to http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=2039201 and see if you can convince anyone there to buy the XZ from netsale, since Telstra website already have it listed as $629 starting next week 26th.

Telstra is shipping out pre-ordered XZ tomorrow at that price (refer to stumo's link, comments from telstra staff dated 18 Mar 2013 at 2:12 pm), so pretty sure your sales person told a lie or really have no clue.

Be locked to telstra for only a $35 saving then pay them $30 to unlock it.

    Whats the point…

    • 2 year local warranty for one.

      • netsale is a local company with the same warranty?

    • +1

No phone I've purchased OUTRIGHT from Telstra or Voda required you to pay to unlock.

  • This is a good price but I expect it to get even better real soon and continue getting better. Worth waiting imo, plus you may find a deal from a supplier you're more comfortable with.

  • true but I don't think it will go below $600 for at least 2-3 months .

  • No love for my post either 380+ clicks and only a + 1 :(

    • +2

No + for your post cause it is a shit deal man. As point out above you can get this phone for $624 outright unlock from Telstra on the 26th of March. Also come with 2 years warranty. This company is dodgy, last time they posted this ozbargainer confront them with warranty issue and they just pull the deal. Only to relist it using a different link. Would you trust them after that?

      • I'll say and his continued attempts to flog this "deal" makes him appear just as dodgy to me.

It's already debunked by the better deal (Telstra). Even ignoring this, the supplier has been deemed un-reputable, so regardless of the "deal", that cancels it out too (for anyone with common sense).

The fact Telstra is cheaper than your deal I'm honestly a but surprised that the ozbargain community hasn't blasted this post to hell with negs.

        • You present a convincing argument, neg granted.

  • Ok fair enough I am not working for him I just thought it was a good deal and we should give them a chance but if they have been known to be bad in the past I will close this deal.

    Thanks

    • And you said you got your when postage was free. Did you actually receive the phone or just manage to order it?
