$45 is a great price for the game.

You're almost tempting me to buy, but I have so many games from the On Demand sale to play through first I'm determined to play them before buying anything new.

Edit: On a side note Mr Ape, just a technicality. When I last bought a game from you it came with a Euro cover. Don't want to get all anal, but just an FYI that it's an offence in all States and Territories to sell a computer game without the proper classification on the cover. You might want to buy a few stickers to throw on your product. Just looking out for you because I think you're doing a great job.

Mighty Ape is an NZ company so not sure if this law applies?

      • As long as they ship from NZ it doesn't apply.

      • IIRC the couple of games I got from them were Aussie Posted. Maybe I imagined it.

If they are being posted from NZ, then it just becomes weird. Only games that are classified (which is anything likely to attract an MA 15+ in AU) then they need to put a label on it too. But that's from memory.

    • FYI that it's an offence in all States and Territories to sell a computer game without the proper classification on the cover.

lol, you couldnt be more wrong, all main retailers occasionally sell euro covers, and especially with editions that are published that are exactly the same as the UK copy, as in this instance square enix, they dont bother publishing the australia covers unless you get the standard edition

      • I couldn't be more right. Who said anything about COVERS? I've talking classification labelling on covers. Big difference. You even quoted the correct bit where I state it.

Which State law would you like?

Section 34 of the NSW Classification Enforcement Act states:

(2)A person must not sell a computer game unless the determined markings relevant to the classification of the computer game, and any consumer advice applicable to the game, are displayed on the container, wrapping or casing of the game.

        (4) A person must not sell a classified computer game if the container, wrapping or casing in which the computer game is sold displays a marking that indicates or suggests that the computer game is unclassified or has a different classification.

        • covers = slang for classification

and if you were right, why is so prevalent?

        • I AM right, I even proved it. Would you like all 7 other jurisdictions legislation referenced as well? I'm a lawyer who used to work in this area.

It's prevalent through ignorance by minimum wage staff, lack of oversight by head offices and lack of enforcement by Police. Just because people are slack about it doesn't make it any more legal.

I've also seen plenty of games at places like EB which are clearly overseas copies (like red PS3 cases) where they have placed the classification stickers over the Euro ones. So some places do the right thing.

        • so your saying that this is just another thing that is technically illegal in life, but is overlooked?

        • yep

    Awesome price, awesome game.
I already got this from a CD Key seller for $35, but for a physical copy it's a good price.
    I highly recommend the game.

  • Must have sold out - now at pre-order for $70
