      here is the link

      • I purchased using this link (item #251249643558). Item never delivered.

…but now getting plenty of spam from APUS/ShoppingSquare.

Lesson learned. Thanks for nothing rep.

  • Damn I missed out ;( didn't see this deal

  • ebay removed the listing as counterfeit

      • Got this email

We're writing to let you know that we removed the listing for the following item that you bid on or won:

330894758738 - 8Pin Lightning USB Data Charger Cable for iPhone 5 iPod Touch Nano 7 iPad 4 Mini

Most items listed on eBay are legitimate, and there are many things we do to protect our members from buying items that aren't. One thing we do is remove items reported to us as allegedly infringing through the eBay VeRO program.

In this case, we removed the listing because the copyright or trademark owner of this product reported that they believe the item may not be authentic.

        What to do next:
If you won the item and haven't paid for it yet, don't pay for it.

If the seller offers you the item outside of eBay, we strongly encourage you not to accept the offer. These types of transactions are extremely risky and are not covered by eBay buyer protection programs.

If you've already paid for the item through eBay and want to get your money back:
        — You can open a case in our Resolution Centre. You have to wait 10 days from the day you made your payment before you can open a case.
        — To access the Resolution Centre, go to:
        http://resolutioncentre.ebay.com.au/
        — Under "I bought an item," select "I haven't received it yet."
        — We'll walk you through the process for getting a refund. Because we removed the listing, you won't be able to look up the seller's contact information.

If you paid using an unauthorised eBay method, here are some things you can do:
        — If you paid using Western Union (1800 173 833) or MoneyGram (+612-8021-9887), contact the company directly.
        — If you paid by cheque, contact your bank to stop payment.
        — If you paid by credit card, contact your credit card company to dispute the payment.

We want to make sure you get your money back safely and quickly.

Learn more about how we're working to prevent the sale of counterfeit items:

When purchasing goods on eBay.com.au, we recommend using one of the three safer payment methods sellers are now required to offer when listing an item PayPal, Paymate or Merchant credit card. Read more about the payment methods available so you can choose the right one for you:

Please don't reply to this message. It was sent from an address that doesn't accept incoming email.

        • we check with eBay instantly, and found out we are not allow put iPhone 5 in the pic as Apple is not allow ebay seller to use that. The new pic is removed the related words.

If you paid for the item you still can get the item to be sent out by Monday

        • Seems like the price was different too - looks like I paid $3.64 rather than $1.95, is that a different listing?

        • Same item but different ebay listing (revised the photo to fit eBay requirement)

@ $1.95, There should be around 50pcs left right now.

    • good to know we will still get our items posted on monday.

wtf I just went through to purchase and after accepting to pay now the price increased?

    messaged you on ebay

    • Yes? Tell that to rep, I'm not involved in this deal.

  • Man, MISLEADING advertising! Their site lists it as $3.28, and not $2 as per post

This looks like better deal instead:

2 for $4.95 via Shopping Square:

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2x-8Pin-Lightning-USB-Data-Charge…

    • awkward moment when its from the same seller OP shared

  • Not happy Shopping Square!!!

    I ordered 5 x 8 Pin USB Cables and only 4 arrived!

    • No reply from Shopping Square from here or eBay.

      Paypal dispute opened.

    • Still no reply from Shopping Square, escalated to PayPal Claim.

    • This is the disgusting and threatening email I just got from Umer from Shopping Square:

      Dear XXXXX,

Please be advised that the dispute you opened is for 5 cables not for
just 1 cable. You have received 4 cables and its just remaining 1 cable
that you have not received and keeping this in view it is highly unjust
and unfair not to close the dipspute even after we offered you a refund
for the missing cable. Anyhow, it seems like you do not want to resolve
this issue and trying to rip us off by doing this drama. Therefore, we
have decided to file a legal case against you in Australian Consumer
Court of affairs, ACCC, Fair Trading Australia and NSW Court of consumer
affairs. You will shortly receive a legal notice from our solicitor at
      your billing and delivery address.

What I want them to do:
Send me my missing cable, If they dont have stock then let me know and i'll accept a refund.

Umer has advised me to close the PayPal dispute then he will send me a cable, This means i have no buyer protection from PayPal but Umer does not understand this and just threatens his customers.

This is a negative shopping experience!!!

      • This is the disgusting and threatening email I just got from Umer from Shopping Square:

It seems this is usual for Umer. This is from a review posted in 2012.

        Embarassment to Online Providers
        - Terrible
powerinbrissie posted this on Jun 07, 2012

Shopping Square are the worst online store I've had the displeasure to deal with.. Ordered a simple DVI adaptor that was to be "directly shipped".. After 13 days I checked on it's status, and was told by Umer of the Customer Service Team it would take between 10-15 days. First lie, website specifically says "shipped directly from Overseas Supplier by Air Parcel. It takes 1-2weeks (plus Handling Time) to arrive Metropolitan area in Australia" I live in Brisbane.

At 18 days I check again and Umer decides I will get a refund if not delivered by the end of that week. No delivery no refund, I open a Paypal dispute, thank god I used Paypal.. Advise Shopping Square, Umer contacts me to let me know they dont appreciate that I have opened a dispute and will not process the alleged refund unless I close my dispute.

I advise not going to happen as I cant reopen a dispute with Paypal after I close it if he fails to fulfill his end. Second lie emerges, Umer argues and tells me his automated payment system cant process while dispute exists. I tell him he should stop making excuses as a dispute is a conversation on Paypal, a claim is when it might upset his payment process. Umer tells his third lie, we will not refund anything unless I close the dispute and advise Shopping Square. The good news! Paypal agreed with me and refunded my payment.. Poor old Umer, wrong again.. I will never use this company and it's subsidiaries hidden under Apus Auctions again..

        • These guys need lessons in honesty and customer service..

  • I made one purchase, via eBay, of iPhone 4 cables on 22/03/2013. I volunteered no information and paid via PayPal.

I am now receiving SPAM addressed to my eBay eMail address. This SPAM has no 'opt out' (or 'unsubscribe') info. The return/sender address (@shoppingsquare.com.au) is faked and messages sent to it 'bounce' back.

It appears that there is no way to contact ShoppingSquare via phone or their web site. One must join the site as a "member" before being able to make contact with them. As I never 'subscribed', and do not want anything more to do with them, I certainly do not want to 'join' them as a 'member' just to ask them to stop spamming me.

I have sent a message via eBay asking them to stop spamming my eBay address. However, they do not reply.

Perhaps the rep here on OzBargain could comment on this?

  • One of my iphone chargers didn't work, but the other's did. Still good, 5 working usb cables for for 5.37 is good!

    • Yes I ordered 2 of these and only 1 worked. Not really going to bother unless the rep decides to respond with this matter.

  • My iPhone Lightning Cable worked for 2 days contacted seller and no response
