      • their shipping is $7.5 for standard $9 for express $10 for registered so its still a bit cheaper than your

  • Is the Incredible S really on Android 2.2 ?

    • +1

It was launched on 2.2, but there are official updates as far as 4.0.

    • The price for the incredible is really out of whack. Especially when the Razr V is right there.

      • Check out the Nokia 5800 for 170, nearly 5 year old phone.

  • I wouldn't buy the Incredible S for that price. I've had one since the Australian release almost 2 years ago. It was a good phone in its time, but getting pretty old now and stuck on Android 4.0 without any more updates.

EDIT: According to mrfluffy below, these have Optus branding. In that case, definitely don't buy the Incredible S. Optus include a bunch of basically useless apps that make the phone slow and laggy, and you can't remove them without wiping the whole thing and installing a custom rom.

    • With Android 4.0 you can disable those apps so they don't appear in app tray and never get launched. Yes my wife has an Incredible S with Optus branding for about 14 months, and the touch screen has already developed issues (touch screen ghosting).

  • They all have Optus branding.

  • Can you do a deal on S3 4G?

  • IS the Razr any decent? Need a new phone and actually waiting for the S4 to come out but need a new phone now since current one just went crazy for what ever reason. $200 seems cheap even if Im just going to use it for a few months.

    • +2

definitely worth the $200, it is on par with the S2 except the internal memory but if memory isn't an issue and seems you are holding out anyway, it is a good deal

      • +1

agreed, razr has stock JB rollout in coming weeks. 20% higher screen res and better battery / build quality.

S2 is thinner lighter and has amoled screen.

  • Hm now that you mention it memory might be a problem, my current phone has 16gb and that isnt enough for me lol and this one only has 4 gb. Wow I just noticed, wow only 4gb? Really, todays day and age 4gb really is unacceptable. But it does have a microsd slot up to 32gb so I guess thats a solution. Only thing left to do now is look for a cheap microsd to go with the phone before I order one. Anyone know any cheap ones going around?

Can you do a deal on a 32gb microsd card with the phone? :)

You're comparing an Aus stock to a grey import. I'd rather buy a local one if it's only $50 different!

    • +2

  • any advantage in getting unbranded vs optus branded
    is it just no bloatware
do you get better operating system upgrades / support?

    • Not much different other than bloatware.

  • oops… i missed it. hi rep, can you do again this deal for unbranded Razr V?

    • Missed it too. Got an email reply confirming they won't extend the offer. Would have grabbed the Optus branded one for $209 delivered if they did.
