I'm questioning the quality of the deals.

Your profile: (Top deals posted by link)
    amazon.com (35.0%)
    amazon.co.uk (8.8%)

    All have affiliated links.

    • This one doesn't have an affiliate link

Have a look again, not all my Amazon deals have affiliate links
Please make your facts right before posting any comments like this

Actually, the point of these shorten links are to mask any affiliated links. It doesn't make sense how out of 50 of your most recent deal posts 76% of them are Amazon.

50 Deals / 38 of them are Amazon.

if I had a affiliate link, you would see a declaration next to it saying its my referral link.

Affiliated declerations are only made by judgement of link ie. amazon(dot)com/productid=refid?1001. If it is masked, as you're doing. It'll be hidden.

Co-incidence it's 76% of your recent posts? No.

        • Incorrect. Shortened links are detected as well.

These don't appear to be affiliate / referral links at all. If you look at the final URL these is no referral ID listed.

I'm questioning why you negged. Do you know where we can get it for a better price? Do you have any info regarding the quality of the product that you feel like sharing?

So what if he keeps posting Amazon deals and makes a few bucks out of it through affiliation. Australian retail and online stores are usually overpriced when compared to Amazon.

I don't know why you are questioning the quality of the deals when the deals have mostly been of high quality.

Bit counter-intuitive. If you can afford $200 steak knives, surely you can afford some decent steak that doesn't require a knife of this sharpness to be cut :)

    • I see your point, but when it comes to products in this category it is no longer logical to ask the question "why". A bit like $200 dinner plates - clearly it's not about the functional aspect.

  • +3

If I could afford $200 steak knives I probably wouldn't be trolling Ozbargain for bargains.

    • Could be a good investment and or god telling you to become an assassin. Think of the money invested vs the returns :O

  • I atleast expect it to contain traces of pure silver for its antibacterial properties.

    • And for the Werewolves at the door.

Shun knives are beautiful. Just not sure how you would sharpen these. Really, really want them and at less than $50 per knife I can ALMOST justify it to myself.

The Cuisinart pots are normally pretty good quality for cheap pans too, they punch well above there price point. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for some reasonable pots at a great price.

    • They look extremely similar to Scanpan…?

    • The Cuisinart pots are normally pretty good quality

There have been some issues with the later ones manufactured in China. I almost bought some but was put off by the reports of discoloration and rust. DYOR

  • How do these compare with laguiole steak knives. Supposed to be getting a set for my 21st, but if these are better will get these.

  • "Clip coupon to get $25 discount"? May I know where can I get the coupon please?

    • look down a bit below the price, its green coloured
