Shame this deal wasn't posted when the $99 deal came out a month ago (or should I say $107 deal). This deal will cost ~$45 after the surprise credit card convenience fee. If you find the way the fee creeps up on you intentionally deceptive such that you wouldn't notice, don't hesitate complaining directly to Scoot or even the ACCC.
My +1 to Scoot goes for the free potable water machines available on board. I filled my Camelbak with it. It's all a bit of a blur now but I think customer service was alright. AirAsia always give me their trademark irritated attitude, whether at the check-in counters or on-board, so I'm easily pleased.
Almost worth it to buy a ticket and meet the plane in QLD and collect your meal that you didn't get on the plane.
On second thoughts its airline food..
