  • Better than the soldering station that's always on here?

      nope…

that one allows you to adjust the heat…

40W would be way too hot for many uses…

Just ordered one, looks like it has a nice fine tip.

yep i ordered one a few weeks ago, these work awesome.

ive already done some fine PCB stuff with it as well as some thicker 12v wiring with it. it does struggle a but with the thicker wires but i would assume that is because the fine tip is obviously the wrong tool for the job. apparently these are compatible with another big name iron (i forget which, its in one of the many threads on here) so i should really just buy a tip more suitable for bigger stuff but the small tip still works fine for everything ive thrown at it so far, just not ideal for big stuff…..

same price a few weeks back, looks like their normal price….

    • We have only received these as they were advertised a few weeks back. We feel its an excellent kit for the hobbyist and why pay for parts all separate when its all packed in an effective case for portability.

We have done Our research and people dont realise that its better to buy a pack rather than each individual units.

    iron $3 delivered

    stand $2.45

    multimeter $5

    solder sucker $1.39

key items total $11.84….. damn the rest of the items must be mighty expensive to make up to your total… this is why people dont like "bundles" caus usually its an attempt to "value add" to your profit margins
