I just came across this and it sounds pretty creative!

We've have just hidden 40 x $20 iTunes Vouchers across the @Warcom site. They hidden various locations. Basically what you need to do is jump on the site, browse around and try and find pages like this: http://bit.ly/YgHRy8

If you scroll down, you will notice the iTunes card located towards the bottom. What you then need to do is redeem the voucher as quickly as possible and if it works, it's yours!

If it doesn't obviously someone else has found it already.

Best of luck & have fun guys, GO!

Ha Ha You want us to help you test out how your site capable of?

    • +1

      hah, nah not really!

Didn't expect this to end up here.

    • Now all we need is a good scraper!

      • Our site will just automatically block you if you do that anyway. :)

        • -5

nope. Didn't block me. I now have a headache after looking through thousands of images. But my itunes account is a bit richer.

  • any clues guys ?

  • any way to know how many are left?

    • About 35 at this stage!

  • +1

Good in theory, but ultimately frustratingly annoying. Gave up after six products or so. There is nothing in the first four Kickstarter projects for those bothering. This is a competition and not a bargain. So close to clicking the neg button. Beta test in disguise?

  • Goodness!

    We're getting flogged.

  • Sick of the free advertising and shill adverts on OCAU Paul so you decided to try it here?

    • We paid to advertise on OCAU.

      Adam.

      • Not anymore.

And you got caught out repeatedly using employees posting as much as they can on seperate accounts to push your website.

Same with the advert trailer thread in the pub not long ago.

We paid to advertise on OCAU when we were active, and even when we were not.

As you said, we don't now and in hindsight, we probably should have left months before we actually announced we were leaving.

Also; Paul's other business was responsible for administration of the site for over a year. (which you're probably not aware off, not that it's any of your business any way).

Warcom employees don't have signatures on OCAU and haven't for months, and they rarely posted when they did. And having so, certainly doesn't generate anything of note, to make it worth our while.

We don't post on OCAU to make money out of it, we do so because we like the members there.
          Well most of them.

I'm not actually sure who you are, but I've taken the liberty of researching this for you: http://bit.ly/YgL68Y

          Thanks.

          Adam.

  • I would be interested if they were something other than Itunes vouchers. But hey free is free….

  • All gone…

    • They are not all hidden in that directory.

thaikhoa was to fast for us, so we've made random directories to hide 'em!

      • Hey, someone's faster than me. All things have already redeemed BUT NOT ME

  • Are there any more to come????

Can only find 5 out of the 40

  • Anyone like iHome speakers? :)

  • Found a few - all redeemed already. Fun distraction but not very fruitful

  • Powerboards are good this time of the year!

  • Dammit, just missed it lol

  • Sigh would could you have not put them somewhere like blank media or shock resitant cases

    Grr I give up!

    • hah, no certainly not.

Most were hidden in in our top selling categories section.

Or in our top selling products themselves.

…. Here's some transparency for you all!

Our goal of this, is to get you guys to look at all the top category that we sell!

And we don't mind giving away $800 to do that.

It's good fun doing these things with new & old customers.

      Cheers,

      Pete.

  • Now that little kernel of information would have been nice…

I actually thought you meant hidden .. Not go look at our most popular stuff

You were no good at hide and seek as a kid where you?

Next week, when we do this again.

We'll encode them as binary and hide them, just for you Natt ;)

I'm assuming there is none left?

  • +2

First person to raid their service pics would have taken them all. Could have made 40 people happy rather than a just a few.

  • is there a way to know how many more available?

  • they all gone mate. ive clicked every page on their website and theres none left. waste of time

    • Out of curiosity did you come across ~40 of them?
