  • not the flashiest reviews

  • isnt the latest craze for eReaders is back light for night reading and neither of these have such a feature?

Still the Kobo mini is very cheap

As for the Song, I understand the Kobo touch might be a better purchase however i think Song does a better jobs with PDF's?

    • the point of E-ink is that it looks like a printed book rather than a back lit screen like an ipad or whatnot , its easier on the eyes and you get amazing battery life. Ive got an older version of the Sony which ive had for a few years and the battery is bulletproof, charge it once a month maybe and thats with daily use.

  • any ideas about hacking Sony PRS-T2. the previous one can perfect run Android after root. How about this one?

    • i've been scouring the internet for a good e-ink for pdf but to date, have yet to see a good one… the T2 seems to have mixed reviews… previous owners prefer the T1 as the T1 have more features than the T2.

if you've never owned the T1, you'd probably wont know what you are missing.

  • Originally I was going to purchase an ebook reader but I wanted a larger screen and more functionality so I purchased an Android tablet. Still these devices are much cheaper and probably have a much longer battery life.
