Ok guys I'm going to be brave and post a COTD deal.
Cheapest price on static ice is $111 from MSY. Visiting the MSY website it is actually $113. Whether they have any in stock is another matter.
Prices elsewhere are in excess of $130.00.

    I bought this on the $140 HP deal and am VERY pleased with it - if you need a really good mouse with en excellent keyboard you would be crazy to ignore this.

    Excellent price - I bought one with the $142 HP deal. Shame I didn't like the product though, the keyboard felt like the keys are in sludge or something. The mouse is very nice, but didn't suit me either. I ended up selling the set to someone else, and keeping my existing setup (which I'm used to, but still isn't perfect).

    I was reluctant to vote positive being CotD, not so much because of their birthday fiasco, but more so because when I did decide to buy some items (around Christmas time) I was VERY disappointed with the quality (even after the warnings on ozbargain!). However, as this bargain relates to a brand name product it is difficult to see how the product could be any less quality than anywhere else, so good value! :)

        unfortunately I've got my MX1100 a couple of months ago with the Illuminated keyboard. She's been talking about getting a keyboard & mouse anyway :P

      All keyboards are mac compatible.. however, the special function buttons will have restricted or no functionality.

      The keyboard will be recognised as a Wave Desktop (not pro), which has some slightly different button positions, however most of them will work ok.

      The mouse is fully recognised, and you can map all the buttons.

      (The above is if you install the Mac Logitech Control Center, otherwise, you get only basic functionality.)

        Yes, it's simple to get around, just create multiple accounts. You can put the same address and credit card details and it'll work, the payment for both accounts has already gone through.

      Agree. CotD should have limited it to 1 per customer in the first place — who needs more than 1 keyboard? But then it wouldn't stop eBayers buying from multiple accounts.

        Well technically there is nothing to stop people from buying out heaps of keyboards.

        I guess it's the motive behind it.

        Kind of like the people who bought the $20 Obama Inauguration tickets, and sold them on auction sites for $1,000.

        They had no intention of benefiting from the original product, they just want to make money off people who are desperate to get their hands on it.

        But that said, I should have gone to look at the CoTD site earlier. Teaches me to stay late at work to do work… aiya.

        I agree. While I only bought one, it's the reasoning behind the purchase that makes the difference in my book. In particular I felt this deal was like an olive branch to the community and so it seemed right to allow the community share in it, as much as possible anyway. It's not like onselling is illegal, but it does leave a bit of a sour taste in my mouth when people soak up a bargain for profit and leave others to think on what could have been.

          In the future you could make the system prevent an account from buying if the account posts to the same address as another user and if the credit card details are the same as another user.
