      On the specs page it doesn't say it can be pivoted 90 deg, not that you'd really want to.

        I don't think that you can pivot it to 90deg. I've got the 27" version and the stand just isn't long enough to support 90deg.

        Oh.. and couldn't this have happened 24hours ago!? FML

  I don't understand why people want super wide, short monitors. Unless all you use a computer for is to watch movies?

  For office or photo editing/viewing use, pick up a 1920 x 1200 Dell instead with a 90 degree pivoting stand.
