    yep, seriously, who wants even 1 of these torches, when for a couple of bucks more you can get something with decent brightness. 3xAAA is equivalent energy to 1xAA, yet (at Bunnings) AAA's cost 20% more than AA's…basically a AA torch will cost 1/4 of what this will cost to run.

    As for staff gifts, well you can just guess how elated I'd be to receive a $2 torch as recognition for my hard efforts…especially with flat batteries
