    check back of your monitor for consistently spaced screw holes
    (google "vesa" or look here:

    if so, then likely.

    Almost certainly, yes. Check the back of your monitor for mounting holes that conform to the 'VESA' standard in one way or another. Most monitors that I've seen - large and small - have the right mounting points.

  silly question but how does this stick/fasten to the wall? would i have to drill holes into my wall?

    will need to drill into the wall. Will require stud finder and power drill. Not too difficult.

  I have no intention of buying this but curious about the mounting of these.
  I gather you need to somehow drill into the wooden frame behind the plaster wall?

  Or will the plaster wall support a 5-20 kg tv?

  Knowing my luck I can just see the square chunk falling out and a ruined/smashed tv and a gaping hole left.

  I wouldnt mind mounting my 40inch led in the bedroom

    MUST be drilled into wood (or something equally solid/structural)
    Plaster will just tear out.
