    DOTA2, Team Fortress 2 … is always free?

    EDIT: Wait I don't even get this deal .. clicked the link and FORGE is a game .. but the brief text above made me think it was a games seller (eg steam or GOG or GreenMan … whatever) .. so whats the listed games for if the deal is for the game "forge" … tempted to down vote due to not makeing sense.

    i'm a bit confused too. what's with the selected titles? EDIT: raptr's one of those programs where you play games to get these credit things and i guess you can get them from those games. not very clear at all…

    It's from the Raptr games tracking service. Essentially you install Raptr on your computer and it tracks which games you play and for how long you play them. This allows your friends to know which games your playing, so they can join you, etc.

    Each game has a rank that you attain by tallying up hours playing the game. This deal only requires Newbie status, so you can literally just launch the game to get the discount code.

    One thing to remember, Raptr deals like this normally sell out within minutes and the reminders are always late. If you meet the requirements and are quick, you could get it, but most people won't.

        Yeah every time I've tried to get it, the site has always had problems then they're all gone. The times I set a reminder, it popped up on my screen when they were all already gone.
