Every year Free Comic Book day is celebrated on the first Saturday in May, this year it falls on May 4th. Visit one of the participating comic book stores in your area on May 4th to get a free comic book.

Free Comic Book Day is a single day - the first Saturday in May each year - when participating comic book shops around the world give away comic books absolutely FREE* to anyone who comes into their stores.

    A great event, I got a couple of nice Disney comics for the kids last year. Maybe a bit premature to post this far ahead though?

    Sadly there's not many comic stores left. None near me. I will make an effort to buy one next time I am in the CBD.

    no comic stores around anymore. I think theres one in the city but not going in just for a comic. shame really.
