Looks like a decent deal on a reasonable spec single-AA flashlight (meaning you can put all those Eneloops to good use!)

According to camelcamelcamel, it's the cheapest price ever for this light

Almost as cheap from Australian retailer:

    http://www.ledtorches.com.au/pocket-torches/fenix-e11-105-an…

    $31 incl delivery.

  • This or the Thrunite T10?

    • I'd like the t10's modes in the e11 body. Both are good. The e11 has a more premium feel and will likely last longer. But, the t10 is more functional with its firefly mode .09 lumens… Just get both, T10 beside the bed and e11 in the glove box. I have both btw and a few others. Also check out the thrunite Archer a1 if you really just have to pick one.

    • I'd go for the Thrunite Sabre 1A. It's cheaper and brighter.

      • Ahh, I didn't realize there was a 1A. I might just go with that. It's meant to be a present for someone. I have the T10 at the moment, but now I'm tempted to get a 1A for myself too ahaha.

  • $27.95 USD + free shipping from US store: http://www.fenix-store.com/product_info.php?cPath=22_420&pro…

  • How is this a better deal than Maglite XL200 with around same price from Amazon a while back? Single AA ?

  • why not the ones @4$? seems 200-300 lumen by a 14500 battery.

  • $30 seems a helluvalot to pay for a AA, 115 lumen torch….like $5 for the torch, $25 for the Fenix name.

    • I have a few ~$5 torches and a ~$29 Thrunite T10 (which came with a free Ti), amongst others.

There is a big difference between the $5 torches and $30 ones.

The $5 one will work. For a short while. Then contacts get dirty, reflectors crack or oxidise, the body gets dinged up, and so on. The Thrunite on the other hand, is still soldiering on. The coated glass window stays nice and clear as ever too.

It's like cheap anything. Like a $250 Acer laptop vs a $1000 Thinkpad.
