not the best deal ever but thanx

  • Not the best. normal tickets are $13 so if you buy 2 ur only getting $2 off. It's alright

$2 off per ticket. (so $4 savings on two tickets).

Adult (non concession) tickets usually cost around $16, so it it saves a good $5 per ticket.

      Great deal!

If you happen to live near a Greater Union, this previously posted deal is a better offer at $9 a ticket.

I haven't even heard of the Great Union cinemas until that bargain was posted LOL.
We only have one Greater Union Cinema in Victoria and apparently, that's in Melbourne's CBD, so yeah if you can get there, just to see a movie, it's probably a better deal.

      • They're everywhere in NSW, also known as BCC in Qld, maybe in Vic too?

        • +1

In VIC its mostly Village and Hoyts. The one last Greater Union is Melbourne CBD is an old cinemas not updated since the early 80s. It tends to play more hindi/punjabi films then it does regular films. shudders

          • @zhenjie: NSW is the reverse, Greater Union and Hoyts everywhere, only 1 Village in Albury. But someone said the Village $8 deal is also valid for Greater Union.

  • What's up with all the discount movie tickets? Clearly business is tough, but nothing much worth watching at the moment.

    • I thought there was a lot more to watch than normally, it is Oscar season and all.

Ticket's should never be more than $10 anyway. I'd easily go to the movies 2-3 times more if they priced their tickets right. $16 is too much to see one movie.
