Not everyone makes it to retirement so it's pointless to just think "wow 10% every year i'll have 10m at 67 when i can't even function…

I would pick IVV - 30% NDQ - 20% SPMO - 20% VXUS - 10% IDMO - 10% SMH - 10%

It's 2x leverage optimal - basically nasdaq etf. Tech

What would you invest in?

Check the return of QLD and SSO Last 15 years

You want to tell me rent covers a mortgage with no more top up from my end ? Mortgage Repairs Council Insurance Water

You can't get margin called on a 2x leveraged etf like QLD and SSO. You can lose your job or income and lose the house to the "bank" so if…

Normal etf beats it. Add in 2x leverage and you complete destroy a standard buy and hold house in Sydney.

You can leverage shares - 2x etfs 3x etfs 2x is low risk 3x is high risk Both the above pretty much leave property for dead

How did you make 2m in your 20s and what are you worth now? Stocks or property?

They are both great in creating wealth but which would be your pick? Shares/Etfs Or Property? The way i see it these days property does not…

The ETFs would probably beat it. I know past performance is not future blah blah but... If you put $2,000,000 on IVV S&P500 10 years ago…

Retiredandsilly posted a forum topic 2M in ETFs Would That Be Enough to Retire
Let's say one has $2,000,000 on etfs and you use the 4% rule - do you think this would enough in Australia these days? Most end up with…
