Has any one actually had any of their incorrectly priced blu-rays dispatched from Big W?. You'd think there would have been reports of dispatches by now being 3 business days later. Some thing is up.

Now that you mention it, I think they were the correctly priced 50% of the original price blu rays. My other order with Man of Steel, etc is still backordered.

I hope Big W give an update on the status of everyones orders soon, because I imagine a lot of people would have ordered these with the view to gifting them for Christmas. If they aren't going to arrive before Christmas (or god forbid, not at all) they should let people know.
Companies gives their customers updates on their orders. Preposterous, what a silly idea you have have sparkles.
I ordered some of the Christmas decorations on special. It's even allocated for a different shipment which I had to pay extra for. It's really poor that they haven't sent it out; I'm not one of those people that keep it up until July.

My neighbor back opposite my old house used to keep his lights (on as well) until mid year. He'd take them down for a few months, then back up again. When I was a kid, my family used to keep the synthetic tree up until July, because no one could be bothered taking it down. I think that's why I HAVE to take Christmas decorations down on boxing day. It's always childhood ;)

I just noticed that 3D MOS + 3D Star Trek ID + 3D Pacific Rim have switched to 'in progress' from back ordered..all others in the order are still on back order.
I'm guessing they might be honoring the 50% off 50% orders?
Got a message from Big W stating that items have been dispatched.
I ordered in 2 batches (decided to get a few more!).
One batch included the pre-order of Game of Thrones and the second batch included the $8.50 pre-order of Elysium and some of the other mispriced $8.50 & $9.50.
I got a dispatch notification for all of the Blu-rays on the Elysium order on Friday, but not the Game Of Thrones Batch.
Does anyone know if Big W dispatches things separately or do I have to wait until February to get them in one lot when GoT it is released?

Placed order 4:35AM on the 7th.
I have 11 items on my receipt for that day, all went to back order the next day. The order is for "Click and Collect"
Then about two days ago, the top two of my order list have disappeared (Star Trek and Man of Steel), the other items are still there, and are still showing as back order. The total cost of my order has remained the same, and still says that it contains 11 items, but the list only shows 9 items.
All very strange. Anyone else had items disappear off their receipted list online?
A lot of people are reporting this apparently the missing items are being shipped to your store to join the rest of the order ready for collection.

I got some backordered, some In Progress, but just now the bigw chat guy said it shipped from their warehouse on the 13th, and to allow 5-10 days for delivery.
Pretty annoying if it doesn't arrive by Christmas (2.5 weeks should be plenty of time for Australian stock), but hopefully we'll at least get what we bought…

Just received an email from Big W online, stating that they are unable to provide the Star Trek: Into Darkness Blue Ray/DVD/Digital copy I ordered. Instead, they're going to send me the Star Trek: Into Darkness Blue Ray.
Gave me a $10 voucher to use (expires at end of the month), but I'd rather the copy I ordered as the person I intended to give it to as a gift doesn't have a blue ray player.
It's disappeared from my order online and the other 6 movies I ordered are still showing as "Backordered"…

I also got that email. I don't mind except that's the only one with an "in progress" next to it whereas my other blurays are all back ordered. Unfortunately, the Star trek bluray was for myself and the others were gifts for christmas. Now I don't think they'll be here in time.
My order was Click and Collect and i was able to collect it today from Box Hill Vic :P

Hopefully they replace it with the 3d version without the ultraviolet and not just send a 2d copy.
no idea what they are intending to send, as I can't see any MOS bluray release that does not include the UV copy, unless they are removing the UV code from the packaging??

search for man of steel on bluray.com, and you'll find 4 versions of the 3D release, and 1 for bluray/dvd/uv. I can't see any non-UV version.

I got that email as well, I assume that it is the same deal they did with the Star Trek movie, it will be the 3D and DVD but not including ultraviolet copy, but the email does not say the version they are sending is 3D, but it only appologises for it not having the ultraviolet copy (Stands to reason it would still be 3D then).
Guess we will see.

I got the same emails for superman and star trek. When I search for the other titles on the site they are available for immediate ship or click and collect but when I look at my list they are backordered. Looks like they have decided to order in and ship inferior versions rather than give you what was ordered. They probably save some money that way , also it means you wont get most by Christmas which I guess means you might cancel them and save them more money…
Got all my blu rays today including all the incorrectly priced items, Man of Steel, etc (they had to swap it out for a different version though).
So I opened up Vampire Diaries Season 1 which was sealed and there are no discs inside.
heh, discs must cost extra
no wonder it was so cheap
Perhaps it's because the discs produce a mirror image.
So naturally you can't see them.

I too got the same emails for MOS and Star Trek. Did ring them up to say why Star Trek was in stock online when mine was going to be replaced with a different one. They couldn't answer that. Fella was nice though. It was eventually sent so I thought I'd wait and then complain. Luckily the correct items were shipped. I was ready for a fight.
my bad, i thought Man of Steel was but its just DVD, i saw the blue bit at the top of the box and thought it was Bluray.
