My biggest reason for not using gift cards more often.
Oh I miss the old everyday eBay 5% off ……Now we have to purchase 3% off gift cards in order to gain a little discount.
Not unsure if anyone has similar issue as mine. The rewards section of my suncorp app has not been working for the last 2 weeks. When clicking on shop rewards or search rewards or my purchases, it keeps looping back to the landing page.
I've just been using the website instead of the app. No problems there (used it last night) - give that a shot

Are you using iphone? Appanretly there is an issue if you have Chrome set as your dafault browser. If you set your default browser as Safari then the Suncorp app should be working fine.
@irarelycomment: That makes sense. Just recently changed my default browser to chrome post ios update. Now switched back to safari and the apps is working again. Thanks heaps for the clue.
@irarelycomment: Also broken if your default browser is set to Edge. I’m guessing the app is broken if default browser is not set to Safari.
Can't even get my Suncorp rewards working. Only used it once before months ago - now when I click on "Shop rewards" it says "Loading your rewards site" and then nothing happens :(

Sweet. Not sure when I'll use it but historically have been pretty happy with eBay gift cards not going to waste.

Thanks OP - Be careful everyone.. It seems like it rounded up to the nearest dollar. I bought one yesterday at the amount of $16.24, when redeeming the giftcard it only deduct $16 and have to pay $0.24 from credit card. When tried to buy something again, it said the giftcard has no balance so where did my 24cents go??

Lodge a complaint with eBay. This could be as simple as a coding error on the site.

Just made the Suncorp ban account and an account on One Suncorp but I can't find anywhere to enter my banking details on One Suncorp to access the benefits. Any tips?
EDIT: If you have a Suncorp Bank account or CIL insurance policy, you’ll need to go through the Suncorp App.

Another way for discount is using either Cashrewards or ShopBack app and purchasing an eGift card from The Card Network which offers a 5% cash back. Just comes down to if you want 3% off now or 5% refund later. Also TCN is a $50 minimum.
I looked into this. Just to save someone else the time:
Various other issues reported with TCN if you look through prior threads. Whereas the Suncorp ordering experience is seamless, well documented and offers instant delivery.
My only Suncorp service is a GIO car insurance policy and yet I can still access these offers.
Benefit is small but enough for me to stick to them.

I have car insurance through AAMI and have been enjoying the 3% off of Amazon cards for ages. Nice to see eBay getting added.
I assume no cash back when paying with gift card? Also what would happen in case of return? Can the funds be credited back to the gift card?
