I got to the point where it was processing the "payment" and the next screen it takes me to is that "it's too late - you've missed out" :( SO CLOSE and if I didn't have to logon to my scoopon account I may have gotten one!!! Oh well… next time.

I've verified the requests are happening, but the add to cart requests just hit CotD's servers and getting an Internal Server Error after a prolonged period of time, followed eventually by an out of stock response that the web page (doesn't) then render.
Which leads us back to the servers. Connections are timing out cause the server can't handle the load.
IMHO I don't think they'll ever upgrade their servers/provider, as the want the attention for publicity/marketing sake.

I just called in for an extra shifts at work.
Its easier and more productive. Plus, I can buy something that I want/need with warranty at a store that doesn't 404 from time to time.
Gave up on this mob months ago when I discovered them inflating the RRP of expensive items (ie using the original RRP which had long since been lowered). Have never been back since.

I even paid with paypal, but when paypal returned me to COTD, it showed the crash server message.
anyone know how the "add to cart" button works ? others here have said they cant click it/clinking dosn't do any thing but no one has explained it. I have tried on 3 computers and a mobile phone with 5 browsers and none react when the ?\"add to cart" is clicked. Is there a trick to it ?

It's just a normal post. You can see it if you view the page source while the purchase button is showing. If you could be bothered you could probably just script the whole thing. That's probably what the people who've actually bought things are doing.

Like some of you here, I managed to add stuff to the cart a few times, but the server crashed each time. Then I had to login and go through the whole process again, which means I am too late.

Actually no.. I live 20kms out from Brisbane CBD, my internet connection can't even stream more than 1 Full HD Youtube video at a time.
I don't know if anyone else has any other tips, but I am logged in everytime before the countdown reaches 0 seconds every time, and I turn off images in my browser. I am using Firefox.

it was a rethoric question considering i dont know where the servers are located, for all i know they can be located 20kms out of brissy (servers generally aren't in CBDs, too expensive to locate)
