Tiguan Allspace
110TSI Life
6-Speed DSG | Petrol | MY24
Run-out deal
From $39,990 driveaway
Seems like a decent deal
A lot of metal for the money.
Especially when considering T-Cross being $32,990 drive away

Getting old.
Unlike all the people it killed.
Shame there's no diesel option…
Why do you need a diesel on a little drive around the city car?
i'd probably agree with this
the EU is moving away from diesel for obvious reasons for the last decade lol
and the maintenance issues with potential high pressure fuel pumps and dpf (if needed)
i think for this use, direct injected petrol is ok… EV is probanly better lol if you can put up with the lack of range
Is this a 7 seater?
Yes. Rear seats fold completely flat for quite a spacious boot. Middle row is adjustable so you can comfortably put regular / large size humans (or two baby capsules like we do) with front row pushed back.
A brand new Tiguan? Must be nice….
No one will ever know, none in stock…
Must be VERY nice
I own a VW Tiguan 132TSI life and my brother in law has the 110TSI. The 132TSI is a great little car when its working. Meanwhile the 110TSI is very slow and boring to drive. Overall, we both hate them. Services are expensive, my recent 3 year service was $560, and they suggested $1500 worth of critical improvements for the engine. I've done 32,000kms and its been back in the shop 6 times now for coolant and turbo related issues. Meanwhile brother in law in a different state has had engine oil leaks since it had 8,000kms. I paid $55k including on road costs for it 3 years, I've been considering trading it in and The most a dealer has offered me as a trade in is $21k, so 60% loss in 3 years.
my thoughts exactly. just get a BMW next time. that's always predictable. I mean, you just know you need new oil every month and it runs like a dream.
bmws are… predictable?
predictabley… shite?
haha see you at the race track
among euro luxury brands bmw is the only one to get these days. Audi is just VW with a different badge, and Merc is trash.
@tonyjzx: well yes I agree. it's a phenomenal price for a euro space decent SUV, on the surface at least. once you factor in uphill struggle and QA.. don't do it to yourself I'd say. but if I was in this budget I'd give it a bit of consideration TBH
Mfw the dealership is crap and crap and more crap 😮
thanks for the honesty and being real.
not the gasenwagen again
Always liked German quality Volk's Wagon.
single tank of petrol to warsaw i believe
to warsaw and back i been told
Or you can get the same car for $30k with a few km on it !!!
https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/2024-volkswagen-tig…
That has 40,000km in a span of 1.5years. I wouldn't touch it. But each to their own.
40k should be just break in right?
BUT its been broken in by sanjeev as as uber…. right?
broken in
And why not a Chinese compared to these? Given the VAGs usually starts breaking down after 100k kms on them.
As an owner of a Chinese EV, the Chinese cars are miles away from Euros ergonomic and comfort. On the surface it's ok, but the small niggles here and there just start getting to you after a while.
Which EV?
Geely EX5
what's been bothering you? i'm pretty happy with my EX5, haven't noticed any niggles and I came from a Merc - I absolutely don't miss it and the EX5 interior feels on par with a car double the cost
Get a sealion 6 for almost this price brand new 2025 model for 45k driveway.
Germans car brands are dreaming
Gone are the days of precision German craftsmen
Sealion 6 is definitely smaller than the Allspace, and the headroom is lower.
Really? That thing looks huge.
That being said Tesla Model Y is huge inside
Bigger than Tiguan
Own an Allspace, definitely feels roomier inside, much better clearance for my head (I am 195cm).
I'd much rather the Sealion but Tiguan Allspace is 7 seats, not the right comparison
Would rather buy a Haval personally.
I dont mind Chinese cars as they've got the nicest interiors for a pleb car and build quality isnt bad but you gotta be joking right? You shouldn't buy pure ICE Chinese cars. You only buy pure ICE Chinese cars because you're cheap. Chinese cars are mainly good with a hybrid or full EV.
So the value purely comes down to whether you believe climate change exist. show some evidence that its already irreversible, no one can do any definitive evidence.
Huh?
Sure Mg's are crap but the GWM's/Havals are proving to be very reliable. I'd happily buy one of these over euro crap that melts on any day over 30 degrees
The 132 TSI is also on run out but at $45k but has a 2.0L engine and AWD. Worth the extra $5k IMO although of course it does use more fuel and both models req 95ron.
Know a family friend who got a haval for 40k. Seen plenty of them around on the road these days. Definitely cost less to run.
DSG SUCKS.
Oh yeah so does Volkswagen customer care. “No fault found” for everything.
Never getting a VW again.
The transmission and gearbox in these are horrible, getting up to speed feels super jerky. Would never buy one
My MY15 Tiguan 118TSI remains runing at good condition.
Same as our 2015 Jetta 118TSI :) the Mechatronic unit in DSG was recalled and replaced, plus 1x water pump replaced. Otherwise its still a great car
Have fun paying all their subscription based services for options they artificially disable! They are not charging extra to provide increased power.
They are charging extra to restore access to the capabilities they have artificially taken away.
Can't speak for this model but our '20 162TSi Allspace is a great car.
No other 5+2 seater comes close from what I can see, especially if you want something that handles reasonably well and/or can tow a bit.
Have been keeping a loose eye out for an upgrade/replacement but nothing is tempting me. Mazda CX80 is only thing that's come close but apparently they're a bit meh to drive. Even the new Tayron isn't interesting without any PHEV options (and they've taken out the rear seat tables !).
VW. The most useless junk car I ever owned. Would never buy another. In 3 years it drunk pure fuel despite being a 2l german engineered motor that could only run on 98, it sprewed exhaust fumes, ALL the door locks failed, the steering leaked, the oil leaked from 4 different places, the lights constantly failed and finally the transmission failed.
I wouldn’t consider any euro vehicle as they aren’t really designed for the brutal Australian climate, German engineering or not.
This is the actual price they should be sold at. Wonder why we all pay so much for cars :(
“Grabs popcorn for the diesel gate comments”.
