    • +1

      The MM 450-X I think…

  • +2

Nothing says happy mothers day like a set of new headphones.

    • ~"MM*" I believe

  • +3

    Shipping cost, kills the deal.

    • +1

Agree, excessive shipping costs + product price = no bargain.

  • hm………….. Sennheiser CX 300-II for $16… RRP for these at jbhifi is around $69 to $89.. last time i bought these earphones this cheap they were a fake imitation for $24.

What is your return policy like?

  • +4

If you are an Australian based business, then why is Shipping rates shown as International rates, and that too $39 is ridiculous for Headphone that cost $27 (HD205 II).

They're a grey importer, with stock kept overseas. Just like Crazysales, etc etc. Only the higher priced items will be worth considering.

      • They're a grey importer, with stock kept overseas

Then wouldn't they be a drop shipper rather than a grey importer, as they haven't imported anything?

  • Even with shipping that rs170 deal is fantastic…

  • +1

Cant see any bargain here, hd598/hd650 are cheaper on amazon.fr and hd600 is almost same price from dwi

    • becareful i checked amazon for 450-x and the one cheaper is cannot be shipped here

    • eglobal and dwi is the same company

      • +1

and they call these are "special price"

  • well. the 450-X is much cheaper than amazon and dwi, so + from me
but still cant afford to buy

    • it is too cheap compared to Amazon…good deal or fake?

      • i believe they are real. at least dwi is a good one

  • dunno about the others, but IE80 at $242 is a good deal. i got mine for $237 from amazon.de last year…that was the cheapest i've seen, and this is not too far off.

    • how do they sound? are they worth the 240 ish price tag?

      • +1

        hey, sorry for late reply.

to be honest, i'm not sure. i haven't heard any triple/quad BA iems (which can be had for similar or less) to compare…i expect they will have MUCH more detail/clarity, but probably not as solid bass performance. whether it's worth it or not depends how much you care about the tradeoff.

i can only compare to my Super.fi 5 EB, which is a hybrid (1 dynamic driver for bass, 1 BA for mids/highs), compared to single dynamic driver in the IE80. i feel in direct comparison, the two earphones show up each others' faults: i feel the ie80 is smoother in the mids/bass (although perhaps doesn't extend quite as low with sub-bass), but a bit veiled in the highs compared to the BA driver of the 5EB (or you could say the highs on the 5EB are more aggressive). i find straight out of my Sansa Clip Zip i prefer the sound of the IE80s, but with my DigiZoid ZO2 i actually prefer the 5EB, as the aggressive highs balance out the super bass.

having said that, the Super.fi 5 Pro was pretty well respected in its day, and the 5EB added the extra bass performance of the dynamic driver. i think i paid about $170 for mine a few years ago, and despite audiophiles frowning on them for being too bassy/muddy, i love them…so being comparable is not necessarily a bad thing. given the 5EB is discontinued, i think the IE80 is a pretty good choice for a basshead. (and as i said, i think the mids/bass are probably smoother).

i haven't listened to them enough to say which i prefer overall (i've mainly been using my DT-770's), but i think if you're looking for bass performance, they are likely to be worth it.

        hope that helps.

  • No sale on HD800? Damn!

  • $200 shipped for the PC360s is a pretty good price

  • Was about to buy until the shipping cost…$39? Do you really think you can come here and rip us off on shipping costs?

    • +1

      Wow so much hate.
mate what about TOTAL price. Can you find other shop sell cheaper? If they are same as DWI, $39 shipping is because they use DHL from HK and will arrive in 3 days.
I know one local online shop in melb sells grey import and charges $65 shipping that's rip off.

  • Ordered last Friday and still no shipping confirmation…

    • They arent getting stock till 29th April.. so asked for refund and got it, pretty dodgy saying they are in stock when they obviously aren't definitely will avoid them next time.
