    Good price, but these are mid 2012 models, current models have 16gb of memory and faster processors.

      The lower model Early 2013 15" rMBP still only has 8GB of RAM on the non-BTO model. The MC976X/A with 512GB SSD here is a better buy than the new base model, IMHO.

      Resale prices on Macs tend to be really high — I recently sold a good condition 15" MBP for 40% of the price I paid for it 4.5 years ago! Made the upgrade to a Retina MBP at these prices a no-brainer. :)

    What animal species' retinas are used in the making of these Apple monitors? Is that why they cost so much? These are chinese made arent they? Please tell me its not panda retinas… I never knew Apple was so cruel.

        Cool, nice try… now the question is, is 1 Ghz difference and having the 2013 model worth the $30 difference at Ausluck?
        Or, is an extra 8GB worth the $370 difference?

        Includes delivery. You can pay using PayPal for peace of mind. Real person on end of phone line and you can also pickup (cash only due to paypal's policy on delivery tracking). Haven't used them as I had a stack of myer vouchers to use up. Check out their eBay status for customer feedback (very high rating)

    saw a display model at DickSmith for mid 2012 retina 15" macbook pro for $1999 (coir i7, 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD) plus free apple TV. Does it worth the price?
