Was looking at a clothes dryer and found Harvey Norman have got the Simpson Dryers on special this week.

The 4Kg is $289 but you can upsize to the 5Kg for the same price - and they'll throw in a $15 Harvey Norman gift card.

Choice has reviewed these two units(Subscription needed) and are the Best Buy for 5Kg and 5-7Kg models.

Simpson 5Kg - Scored 72/100 (72%)

Both have (from Choice article):

Good points:
• Excellent for ease of use.
• Can be wall-mounted or stacked.

Bad points:
• Just OK for energy efficiency.
• No drying rack supplied.

No dryer is ok for energy efficiency unless it utilises a heat pump.

Good price for the 5kg. Applicances Online is $352. 4kg is $284, but AO do free metro delivery (and free removal of old one) https://www.appliancesonline.com.au/vented-clothes-dryers/
