CFONLINE.COM.AU question about them

Freakitude confirms there are no issues now and asked this be pointed out in the original post

the only problem i had was with unreasonable delivery time. i am totally satisfied with product itself.

looks like their customer service vastly improved judging from recent comments on the deals.

i wouldn't hesitate buying again from them. i was thinking to order another nexus 7 but they currently don't have 16 gb wifi one in stock.

I ordered on 15/04/2013
Order sent on: 22/04/2013

they sent me tracking number thats not traceable. Still waiting. Shouldn't take this long for melbourne to melbourne delivery.

other guys also having issues/ being given excuses.

looks like people who bought these from their last deal received them on time.

  • My guess is they're drop shipping the nexus 7s, and there has been a supply issue. They're stalling hoping the order will be fulfilled.

  • I got mine from the first deal. The tracking number they sent me was wrong! It was almost right, but a few numbers were switched around, which I only discovered when I found the delivery card on the kitchen table.

Other people in my house thought the delivery card was spam and almost threw it out. They used Couriers Please - which has a policy of sending the item back to the sender if they don't deliver it in 2 days or you haven't made contact within 2 days.

If you live in Melbourne, why don't you just give them a call? There's a number on the picture you listed.

  • got worried because one of the members raised concern that there address is fake and that we might have got scammed. almost called my credit card company but then found previous listed deals and thought i'd ask on the forums first.

judging from your replies they seem to be a legitimate business.

i am gonna give them a call tomorrow. i don't mind delay as long as i get it within next few days.

  • I am in Perth and followed up last Monday as to the delivery status.
They then sent me a consignment number saying it had been sent through Couriers Please and to track through them.
I have logged onto Couriers Please using that tracking number every day, and nothing would show up.
I followed up with CF today, and miraculously within an hour of emailing, that consignment number became active and it now shows that it is on it's way.
Time will tell if it actually arrives, but service seems really iffy so far.

  • got their email today around 1200 hrs

    Hi,

Sorry for any inconvenience was caused. Let me find out with warehouse and get back to you asap.

    Kind Regards,

    Roy Cheung | Sales Team

    no updates after that.
  • My tracking details also mysteriously appeared after speak to the rep yesterday. I'll have to wait and see if I get the device on Monday or not!

  • NOW they bring another deals up! MOD, please check it out, or at least put them in temporary banned, it seem like they try to get money as much as they can from customer without having a stock!

  • just reported, suggest others do too.

  • received mine today.

  • I ordered mine today and I was just wondering if it comes in brand new packaging as seen in the details. lol. Just seems to good to be true.

    • faark fellas, just ordered mine over the weekend (11/8/2013), it sounds pretty blerry dicey… I was promised tracking details today but nothing thus far. Looking at their eBay ID (which is "hungpan") they're selling the Nexus 7 32GB by the shovel load on eBay, just have a look :( Like someone said on here, looks like they might be drop-shippers, in the most positive scenario…

Can any of you guys (AND gurls) post to say whether you actually received your item?? When I was going through the payment process it felt like the deal was a little too good to be true… (Remember brothers and sistas: "Perception is Truth!")

  • +1

Update Fri 16 Aug: all OK now guys, I have received the product this morning, brand new "refurb" (I guess, so the other dealers can't scream at the manufacturers for chopping the price :) ). The problem was Australia Post doing funny things with the Express satchel because it was for delivery outside the urban area, hence no longer "Express", hence no scannning for tracking and therefore not showing up on the system until the last second (8.00am this morning).

Roy Cheung of Centralfield Technology stayed helpful and responsive at all times amidst my barrage of messages! I've apologised for getting a little nervous after seeing the alarming messages on this forum.

Centralfield are fine and legit supplier: great product, great price, happy campers all round!

Roy also recommended this morning, don't upgrade to latest Android OS for Nexus 7, apparently it crashes the unit…
