  • They also have the 32GB (refurbished) for $199 - http://www.cfonline.com.au/index.php?route=product/product&p…

EDIT: Though the product code says: Google ASUS Nexus 7 16GB —- (Any comments rep?)

  • Thanks, the product code has been updated.

    • If I was you I would put both deals in this post.

  • I'd buy one but I only bought a 16GB the other day for $190 :(

  • +1

    this is pretty good pricing…

  • Bought a 32gb!

  • No paypal.

    • +15

No paypal n d payment page is not secure too (no https) :(

      • +8

really? wow! certs cost next to nothing these days…no way in heck i'd buy from an unsecured site dont care how good the deal is… lol

        • +10

Yep I'm inclined not to support such dodginess either. https is the bare minimum for online trading these days, there's really no excuse not to have it.

        • -2

          no paypal, no pay…

        • How much is next to nothing really? Symantec (i.e. Verisign) doesn't seem that cheap to me… maybe that's the cost of doing online business though.

        • Like $10 a year at the low end of the scale.

Paying larger amounts come with extras like insurance etc.

      • +1

Agree. I was already on the payment section. I was shocked that they are accepting credit card information without a SSL certificate. Might get you in trouble if your credit card details turns up on the internet.

        • same with you ,so i gave it up in the last step.

    i would buy this..
..if it were better than an ipad
lol (here goes the flame war…) just kidding i just ordered one thank you

    • A better way to start a flame war is by saying, "Why would I buy this when I can get an iPad Mini for $329?" There's always one guy who posts that. Anyway. This is a great deal for anyone who got one. Love my Nexus 7. Playing Real Racing 3 a lot on it.

  • good deal.

Rep - any chance of doing a deal for the tf300 w or w/o dock?

To those who previously purchased one,

Is there any sign of use on these refurbs?

    • I'm interested to know. My previous refurbished iPad2 was new on the outside and performed the same as my original one that was sent in for warranty purposes.

    • I got a refurb about a month and a bit ago. Seems perfect condition to me. There was some slight screen burn, but I downloaded an app to fix it. (Screen burn isn't really a major issue these days)

I find there is sometimes a bit of an (extremely faint, hardly noticeable) after image from the previous screen when I go to the homescreen, but disappears when I go to something else. I've since changed my wallpaper and haven't had an issue with it since.

      Everything else is perfect though!

Get the 32GB one! I wish had more than 16GB…:(

      • I'd be tempted to pay the additional $70 for a brand new one for the 32GB option. The 16GB looks more attractive since it's so cheap.

As always though, I don't need one but am tempted.

      • Thank you so much. I know that Apple and Amazon do provide their refurbished devices in perfect condition and I will be interested to know what Asus do about theirs.

    • Mine was 'as new' didn't look at all used. No issues so far with daily use

      • Thanks mate - in that case, it's worth buying.

      • thanks

    Thanks rep, bought one!

Now that I'm itching with excitement, any estimate of delivery time?

    • Rep, could you give an ETA for metro delivery?

  • +1

    32G is out of stock!

  • +2

I'd be super annoyed at missing out on this if I was in the market for one. These prices are CRAZY CHEAP!
I do believe that Google will release Gen 2 Nexus 7 & 10 at Google I/O in two months though.

  • +5

2% credit card surcharge for anyone interested in paying that way

  • hmmm tempting are they any good for typing up documents at uni with keyboard attachment?? was considering an ipad because they work well with keyboard attachment and I already have a Galaxy S3 phone so thought it would be good to have best of both worlds, but this is cheap…

  • Bought one. Cheap enough!
Don't need it. Really don't need it. But I thought I might use it to play with some of the Ubuntu stuff coming out lately for these units.

    Officeworks price match.

    • +3

i don't think officeworks sells refurbs

  • 16GB out of stock as well?

  • Is it worth just getting one of these instead of buying a new screen to replace the cracked one on my google nexus unit?

    • +1

off course with 1 year manufacturer warranty plus in sealed condition, but its too late now as it is out of stock hehe:)

  • Out Of Stock

  • nvm

  • Op, do you know if you will be getting anymore in stock?

Second time I've missed out on a refurbished unit.

    • +1

Worth pointing out with a new version of the Nexus 7 to be released in late may according to rumors, means hopefully ebay will be flooded with people selling their 'soon to be' old Nexus 7's, and retailers of their old stock. Not sure if it will be as cheap as these refurbished, but you never know.

      • +1

        Yay cheap picture frames!

        • +2

Yay affordable tablets for college and great present for kids!

  • Hey, so I got one, they sent me an invoice saying pay via direct deposit ect. When your payment is cleared item will ship. Will it still ship if the page is displaying no stock?

  • Is there still stock? Doesn't show it on the page, although "Expired" on ozb?

    • Availability: Out Of Stock it does say

  • Opencart store, good to see.

I hope the site designer didn't charge too much for it, it is pretty poorly done.

Nice price for the tablet though!

    Lol, Scotty and his OCD:

    Before:

    Total Unit offer: 45 units

    After :

Total Unit offer : 45 units

  • I paid via bank deposit and mine was shipped today by couriers please. It happened to turn up today as well, except the courier did the dodgy leave the card in the mailbox trick when someone was home ><

    Thanks OP for the deal!

  • Ordered on Tuesday, paid via direct deposit, tablet arrived Friday, fantastic thanks!
