I'm not sure no, but there are lots of rumours, and I think it's fairly widely assumed that it will happen at this point. I remember it was rumoured to have a 1080p screen, other than than that it might just get a CPU/GPU bump, but otherwise be the same tablet. I wouldn't expect HDMI.
Again, Google hasn't announced this, but it's widely rumoured, and makes sense.
Damn I got this tablet for the same price a few months ago, but it was refurbished….not that it hasn't been anything other than awesome, just like a new tablet.
Hope the next version will have a sd slot.(I know better though…sigh)

Great little tablet - great price. Any prospective purchasers, just be aware that there's an incredibly high chance of a specc'ed up version of this same tablet to be released at Google IO next month. Not saying not to buy it - just to be aware of what is happening! This is about to become old stock so retailers may start discounting to clear it out …
