  • delivery $11.50 to sydney

  • Refurbished means repaired unit?

    • Some are repaired and some are almost brand new as customers only used it for couple days and return back to D-Link.

Basically, D-Link double checked all the stock are working fine and repackaged them ready for sale.

  • i can't believe mwave were selling this refurb for $50 where a brand new one can be bought for that much

why is it that sales like this local pickup is not available?

    • you wouldnt pay $50 for this piece of shit… last firmware update was 2009

works ok in ddwrt though but meh… only 2.4 and 10/100 which means its well behind the tech curve

I am not sure about the quality of this router, but 750+ failed within the original warranty period (1 yr?) doesn't sound good to me. How many were sold in total within OZ for this particular model?

    • The sale haven't started as it:

      ** Starts 12pm Wednesday 01/05/2013 to 12pm Thursday 02/05/2013

      • hey OP why no pickup? if you did i'll get one

    • +8

because they make $ off postage! if they didn't have a shopfront for pickup yes i accept that, but they do offer pickup normally!

      • +1

yeah… thats just weird, having a shop front but no pick up its like dominos pizza $2.95 for a pizzz but del only and del is $11.50 instead of the normal $5 price.

    • Previous bargains for new 615

      $22 http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/79512
      $15 http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/93798
(they ran out of 615's during the $15 sale, and some people got an upgrade)

I literally live 2 blocks away from Mwave — having to pay 11.50 so it can be taken to the Lidcombe post office, then have to be sorted, then given to the postie to bring it all the way back to near where it left. . not only is that kind frustrating, but a totally unnecessary waste of time, effort and resources.

Does this have the ability to clone/spoof Mac address?

    • change to dd-wrt and you'll have endless possibilities.

      • Looked into it and yeah seems like the way to go. I can finally force Bigpond to give me a new IP.

Pass this as a protest against the store on its effort to hide the real shipping cost. It's sort of dishonesty.

I wonder why they don't offer pick-up. Perhaps they are drop-shipping out of whichever Asian country does the re-furbs? In that case, shipping should be MUCH cheaper.

    HEY GUYS

I have a wired printer, can I use this modem to print wireless?

    Cheers

    • -2

If your corded home phone works as a Mobile i think it should be possible

      • -3

You don't have to comment on a subject when you don't have enough information about it.

Educate yourself and have a look at the concept of dd-wrt. You are welcome.

        • +1

I guess that means I'm uneducated for thinking that dd-wrt is a weird new swear word that has been censored?

        • -4

NO mate, you are asking, and that's what normal people do when they don't know something :)

To those who negged me: Take a look at the below youtube video and have the decency of saying sorry for negging me without a good reason. It's POSSIBLE to print wirelessly through a router

          http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g7v5VGO6SAg

        • +1

So, why asking in the first place? Isn't that you know the answer already? And even so, why is it relevant to this router?

    • I had a look at the manual http://files.dlink.com.au/Products/DIR-615/Manuals/DIR-615_C…

I don't see a usb port on the back. Wifi printers are cheap now aren't they?

  • +1

    says it is now $24.99

  • Still says $24.99 & its 10 minutes past 12.

    • Hi Dezsch,
