  • Dang, it's not $38.83.

    • You should be able to click + collect if the store has any stock.

  • Salmon socks.

  • this toaster looks very similar (in size and features) to:
    http://shop.target.com.au/p/kambrook-4-slice-toaster-kt40/P5…
which is a few bucks less (and for those who prefer white to brushed metal and black)

    • It doesn't look any thing like it. Not the same toaster and completely different manufacturer.

      • Which is why I said in size and features.
And for those who prefer white.

Yes, it's a different manufacturer: Kambrook.
Yes, it's white, like I mentioned.
        For those who prefer that.

However, in the size of the unit and features, they sure do seem similar.

Personally I dislike to see any metals on the external surface of my toaster, particularly with that nasty black accent. White is more palatable to my tastes, but as always, your tastes may vary (and the reliability of both toasters nowadays is unknown: today's toasters have a habit of dying early, in my opinion).

  • Look hard enough around target and you might find a $4.83 toaster.

  • +3

I'm not going to neg the deal….

    BUT!!!!!

I have this exact toaster and let me say it's junk….

It is the king of uneven toasting….

I guess it's only 40 bucks but don't expect it to be awesome!!!

    • This might be the norm with a lot of toasters today. We have a similar problem, not exactly a beacon of consistency.

    • Same for me - crappiest toaster I have ever owned

    • I have this toaster also and for the first 6 months it was good, and then.. it started toasting very unevenly
now i think its a waste of power having 4 slice toaster heating up with mostly only 2 pieces to toast.
Im happy to sell this for $4.83, any takers? ACT pickup.

  • If you're looking for the matching kettle http://shop.target.com.au/p/sunbeam-express-kettle-ke7305/W1… also half price at $39. Both these products are in the current catalogue so should be available in store without needing to click + collect.

  • If anyone knows a good toaster, please find a decent deal! The spaceship here has been without evenly toasted bread for some time. We also have had a string of rubbish toasters - variable toasting from slightly warmed to black on the same setting, toasted on one side and nothing on the other (sort of an automatic crumpet setting by accident rather than design), uneven toasting at best…..

The requirement (other than to actually toast bread) is to have two long slots so that wide bread from a bakery may get the heat treatment rather than just the standard stuff….

    • I've been looking at amazon.de (germany) and amazon.co.uk

Lots of reviews and lots of choice that will work here with our voltage with a simple plug adaptor. That's all I can offer at the moment. Remember that 19%/20% tax is deducted at the checkout, and select "AmazonGlobal eligible" with Amazon.co.uk (or amazon.de as the case may be) as the seller.

Decent prices, especially if buying something else in the process (to make the postage more worthwhile).
