I'm starting to wonder if you work for this mob, OP?

VistaPrint can bugger off anyway, they faxspam the hell out of our fax numbers at work.

I have posted 260 deals and only 2 have been from vista print. How do you draw that illogical conclusion? And no, I have nothing to do with this company.

If you don't want to be spammed by a company give fake details. Simple.

Perfect timing for me. I had 250 Premium business cards in an open tab waiting for a better coupon to come along. It was $16 delivered, now it's $6. Thanks :)

And no, I have nothing to do with this company.

        Fair enough. :)

What? Put fake fax numbers on our website and in the white/yellow pages? Yeah, great idea!

        • +2

Sorry, I see what you mean. I believe you can send them a polite note saying you don't want to receive promotional material and advertising.

        • +1

Oh, don't worry, I've had a go a them many times. Doesn't stop them though…

And I love how they say on the bottom of every faxspam document received that they "don't own the fax number list", and you have to go to some domain with "stopfax" in it instead, and indicate the fax number you don't want to be spammed. About time ACMA stepped in an outlawed this crap, I'd hate to imagine how much wasted toner and paper results from it.

        • +1

Good will be the day when we can block numbers on our home phones and fax machines.

        • You could always switch to a virtual fax/fax to email. Save on your paper and toner and it's much easier to keep track of your faxes too. Just print the faxes that you need if you want hard copies.

        • Report them to ACMA , you might even win compensation.

  • Edit Found it.

This is what I received in my email from the last deal:

    Thanks for contacting Vistaprint.

I have reviewed your account and it shows that there is a glitch in the system that allows you to place the order for free. Please note that this option should not be available. Hence, the reason it prompts you to pay.

Currently we are unable to honor this offer as this is no longer available.

I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.

And after I emailed them to say that I did put in a valid coupon code just like other customers would, this is what I received:

I must inform you that if other customer places an order using the same offer that was used to place your order, the order will not be processed it will be cancelled on our end.

Again, I sincerely apologize for this inconvenience caused.

This is strange….it worked the first time….why is it suddenly a glitch?

      • It clearly states in the email that I received that 'Coupons cannot be used on Sample Promotional Products'.

You really can't blame them for cancelling an order when they are well within their rights to do so under the terms of the coupon.

        /\ t's&c's for ya

        • I'm sure the exact same T&Cs existed when this deal was first posted http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/95173 but it seems most of the people got their orders. It was from that original deal that I started receiving emails from vista print. If doesn't really bother me because they do have some good items and all their emails go to my fake account.

That's interesting because last time I ordered all those sample bits and peices and they turned up!!

Have also ordered stuff below $30 and only had to pay say 48 shipping too…

  • Please post the term and conditions of the voucher.
What's the chance of these orders being cancelled too?

  • Your order is likely to be canceled if you have used free samples, especially if the total is $0.

I don't understand why you would do this anyway, spending $5 for something even cooler is worth it?

Myself I'm using these to print huge A1 posters for around the house.

    • Agreed. Their T-shirts are pretty good, with a custom print for about $6 delivered.

  • +2

Lots of people got their orders canceled from the last deal. I don't think this is meant to be used with promotional items (free items). But if you don't go silly and spend a little bit of money your orders shouldn't be canceled (mine weren't last deal).

  • got a few bits and pieces and paid $4.40 on top. hopefully it doesn't get cancelled, thanks

Have my wedding come up in Fiji. Just got stubby holders for the wedding party which say "Groom", "Best Man" etc.

    • +4

Wow tough crowd, someone negged you for that comment?

      • Weddings are expensive.

        The mysteries of the neg…

        • +1

OzBargainer's will always neg a comment with the word neg in it.

          Wh0opsy daisy

        • Does that mean I have to neg you now? lol

        • Yes but oddly enough, people upvoted me instead! The mystery of the neg indeed lol :)

      • Rival in love?

  • Already received my tshirts from the last vista print post I had made. They consolidated my two orders into one box despite me paying shipping seperately. Cheeky.

The tshirts are labelled 100% cotton. They don't feel like the nice soft type of cotton I like. But good for the price I suppose.

I've had mine today too, can't complain at delivered in 4 days when you pick 21 day shipping.

      • True. Atleast I can say their service is good.

      • This appears to be because the shipping times are for delivery from their overseas location, but they now ship from sydney.

If they make your order they aren't going to sit on it for 18 days just for fun.

        • While its great for me for this order it's a bit annoying that I got this one in 4 days they've got 7 and 14 day options available which they charge a fair bit more for and it seems like they are all delivered the same way.

I recently spent $22 on an order because I needed the items quickly, makes me think I could have risked the $7 21 day shipping method and got it in the same time.

It looks like they make some types of items outside Australia? I just received an invoice for a Pen I got printed with one of my orders, it is getting sent from the Netherlands while most of my other items are getting sent from Australia.

        • You're paying for guaranteed delivery. Things sometimes ship quickly but I think it just comes down to their capacity on any given day. Paying more means you're job is pushed up the queue.

  • Damn! I ordered some more free crap and then decided to look at other stuff. Found something I actually want. This code is only good for one use. If anyone gets another code, please list it. Don't hold off because of one or two naysayers. Thanks.

    • Vistaprint don't care if you have multiple accounts.

  • Another code here "Professional"

    http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/102625

  • All the orders from last time got cancelled….

  • Can you get anything for free with this?

  • expired

  • Just a heads up. Got my order yesterday (4 x stubby holders, keyring flashlight and keyring bottle opener). Total cost was $0.
