  • I've spent all day ordering and the website has been nice and quick. I get the feeling things will begin to slow down.

  • vistaprint is banned

    • +3

It was, I have had to wait to get the all clear from the mods before posting this

      • i tried posting it the other day and they were banned

Did you get the code from here http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/101983?page=1#comment-13691…

        • No, I got it in an email this morning at 8:22am. Tried to post it when I got to work and just got the green light now. When did you receive the code? My email said it was the last chance I had to use the code, so they may have sent it in an earlier email.

    • +1

      why were they banned?

      • Users were posting numerous Free whatever deals. Vistaprint has inconsistent pricing so free really means not so free.

        E.G. this deal

        Lots more examples

        • Neil, are you going to order some more Ozbargain prizes?

        • +8

I don't think it will arrive before the meetup. I have enough free junk in my house!

  • this again… not sure if i should bother spending all that time redesigning everything.

    • +2

No need for a design, you can just get blank stuff.

I ordered 2x Dora T-shirts for the children. The voucher covered the cost of the shirts but I had to pay something like $6.15 for postage http://www.vistaprint.com.au/vp/ns/easypath/studio.aspx?pf_i…

      • Thanks for that info.
I love the free stuff but sometimes can't be bothered with all the time consuming design process.
Just got a embroidered hat ($25 worth apparently), had to pay $4.19 postage but it looks like quite a nice product and all I had to do was type in the words I wanted on the hat.

      • Thanks for that! I made an order :)

  • what do i put in the CC details screen?

    • +5

No, if your order is completely covered by the voucher, and you have chosen items with free shipping, just select the Bpay option.

If you have chosen items with shipping charges you can pay either by credit card or Paypal or Bpay.

  • Thanks - All done!

    • +4

You can use the same voucher twice. So if there is anything else you would like you can order again.

These guys actually deliver. I got everything I ordered the last time this was posted.

  • picked up 1000 business cards with blank side :)

    • Was the price on the 1000 $30.49

  • +6

Thanks, got many useless items with pictures of my cats on them. Birthday presents for my parents sorted!

  • I won't be bothering with Vistaprint again. They didn't deliver my orders on the last $30 voucher so I found it a waste of time. Obviously worked for others though.

    • -5

Same here and that is why i will neg this deal.

      • +2

I have ordered heaps of stuff from them, Always deliver on time. Even when I have used insanely cheap combinations resulting in t-shirts for around $1 delivered! I would not rule them out. Give em another try.

    • as in you didn't receive anything at all?

      • As in i didnt get jack squat.

    • +1

Give it another go. It's not like they didn't honour the previous deal. I got everything I ordered and many other people got their orders too. It may entirely be Australia Posts fault you didn't receive your previous order.

      • I just got orders from Vistaprint and it was all dumped on the door step in plain view of the street :)

        • +4

They use standard parcel post with AustPost. That's an issue for your local mail man not vistaprint.

        • I realise that, unfortunately AusPost has a bit of a monopoly and often don't comply with their own terms of service.

    • +1

Then call them and they will replace them
I had a couple of banners from them, one delivered with 5mm of white on 2 sides the other with about 2mm on one side. I really only rand about one, but they replaced both - one of which was 6 feet long.

  • +7

You give your parents birthday presents of pictures of your cats, is that not weird??

    • +2

Thought the same thing.. I'd be spewing if my kids grew up and sent me photo's of their cats..

  • i got enough last time. i don't think i'll do it again

  • I got all my USBs from the last order but received an email a few weeks later telling me to discard them all since they might be infected by malware. Also had a letter shortly in the post saying that I've been credited everything to my account, but I can't seem to find the credit anywhere, maybe since I've paid nothing for them though…. So i guess i can't complain about free stuff but they did definitely send em all.

    • +1

Well this has come just in time. Order some more USB sticks and hopefully these ones wont have any problems.

  • +4

Got a stamp with my signature and printed name on it for $7.57

In my job I have to hand write these a lot, now I can be lazy and stamp it

    • did you have to pay for delivery also? cheers!

      • Item was free, $7.57 was for the slow postage option.

Something went wrong with my order though, the receipt later came in at a whopping $37.56 so I've contacted them to either correct or cancel the order. They've been good in the past so there should be a happy result.

        Just glad I checked, I don't usually…

  • pay via paypal for free orders and you'll get order confirmation. bpay orders sometimes aren't delivered

    • I thought you couldn't pay $0 orders by PayPal

      • +1

you need to send them 1cent.

        • need not

    • edit: don't listen to me - received an email a few minutes later to say payment not processed :(

      • how did you end up getting your payment to be processed? i changed the payment method to bPay, but now it says "Order on Hold Pending Payment"

        • paypal payment
          same here payment not processed
          select another payment option

        • +1

this happened to me last time.
          entered CC details.
CC wouldn't work. kept saying invalid account number.

tried Bpay - sent $1 through (because you can't send $0) and got nothing.

make your order over the $30 so you pay something and then it will go through.

        • +1

Don't pay with credit card or bpay, if there's nil owing then pay with paypal and it skips the paypal page and asks if your happy to accept charges of 'free'.

        • +2

For my orders that didn't require payment I chose BPay. Because there was nothing to pay it went directly to the checkout complete page. On this same page it says order confirmation and it displays your order number.

A minute later you should get an email from vista print titled '' Your Vistaprint Order Is Confirmed ''

        • +1

if you look at your order history it will show -"On Hold(pending payment)" next to the order

        • +1

Does anyone know how to successfully make a payment for free items+shipping? As mentioned above none of the payment option works. Order is being witheld.

        • order, say 5 stubby holders at $5 each and 1 calculator at $6 = $31 less $30 voucher =$1. you then pay $1 for the six items and shipping via paypal.

          payment goes through.

  • did my order.. ozbargain rocks..

  • Thanks, need to get new cards printed (phone number changed)

  • How are you guys getting free promo items? It shows me minimum order of 24 and they cost a fortune.

I grabbed 3 kids shirts that cost me a total of $10.56 hopefully my daughter likes them.

    • +1

Get the 'sample' which is essentially 1 with free shipping.

    • +2

Some of the promotional items like USBs or calculators offer a 'sample' where you can buy one unit (at a obviously higher price per unit though).

      • How can you select the sample ?

        • +1

Select "Start with: Customized Samples" under the promotional products section.

    • Thanks heaps for all your help guys, got a few of those 'heavy duty' clips for the fridge, a stress ball and a USB stick. :) this is my 4th order with them, nice to get something for nothing.

      • +2

those clips are the best thing on offer (with free shipping). I got some last time, and you are right they ARE heavy duty. They hold the kids paintings up on the fridge well and the magnets are very strong.

    • +6

Click on the following link http://www.vistaprint.com.au/promotional-products.aspx then click on "customised samples" then proceed from there. Keep ordering samples upto $30 value and then apply your coupon.

      • Thanks a lot.

  • Awesome!

Got a glossy A1 poster for $12 delievered.

  • Yippiiiie, embroidered cap with the logo of my favourite heavy metal band
for $5.59 postage, can't wait to receive it!

  • +1

moar free crapppppp, ton of usb and lights, haha, thnx

  • +1

The calculators and USB sticks were actually very good from the last offer. I got some more of them and giving the measure tape a go this time.

Personalised iPhone cases are $5.30 shipped http://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/39370/16181/image.jpg

    • +1

sorry to disappoint, but measuring tapes are RUBBISH. Agree USB drives were surprisingly good, and Magnetic clips were VERY good

      • I didn't see the measure tapes last time that's why I got them this time. If they are no good you can always donate them to charity.

  • My account allowing me apply the code the third time.. Don't know if I should the third round

    • Interesting. I'll give it a go and see if it works.

    • Seems to work the third time as well for me

      • Yep, same here

        • Are vistaprint fairly good for letting you get multiples of free things?

        • +1

          Yes

        • Sure are, I have one eye popping deal I have been using for months and months, this code discounted it even further.

        • +2

What eye popping deal have you been receiving? I'm not asking you for any code or anything like that, just what sort of deal you are getting.

  • Can two people at the same address each place an order with these discount codes? Or do they realise you're at the same address, and cancel one of the discounts!?

    • Yes, was never a problem with their last promotion. They seem now to allow you to use the same voucher 3 times for the same account. These people must be loaded.

  • +1

Got 2 personalised mugs for just over $8 delivered. Looking forward to drinking out of them when they arrive!

  • Won't let me order free shipping stuff (I have already received a sample of each 9 months ago). Min order for me is 24! Regular Vista print user. :(

    • +3

Did you try what I mentioned in my post above ? http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/102082#comment-1370216

Or simply create a new account

      • +1

Thanks - time for a New account.
Just a bit difficult using VP
site on mobile from cabin in FNQ rainforest with slow wireless internet! But anything for a bargain.

  • Great Thanks so much OP (got a banner for my HSC project presentation) Cheers

  • Ordered my husband 100 new leaflets for his business thanks. Just for $8 delivery,

  • How do I check out with free?it wants payment information.

    • i just checkout with paypal it won't ask for any paypal account details it'll just get you to confirm your order, just make sure the total is FREE.

  • Mmm how are you guys getting stuff for free when it says for most items minimum 24 and from $96+ etc….eg stress balls
    Am I missing something here?

  • Great! Mine arrived last time too!

  • Got heaps more for another $16.11 shipped :)
1000 business cards, 250 loyalty cards, 280 return address labels, another wraparound mug, a giant magnet :)
Was going to get some of the other sample products but they force you to use 14 day shipping then for the whole order which is around 50% + more $.

    • Last time I ordered and included free shipping items, shipping cost reduced on other items!

But got regular things much cheaper from VistaPrint then. (3 black Tshirts printed both sides, cap, tote bag, 250 business cards, pen, promo torch & calculator, sticky notes, photo notepad, notepad, keyring - all with with own graphics uploaded earlier, including 14d shipping for $22.66!)
      But free stuff is great.

      • What's the quality of the tshirts like? I have already ordered some for the kids. Are they good or will they be disappointed?

        • +1

based on my previous order- shockingly bad. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but hey at least they were cheap right? :/

        • Yeah, it was only about $6 postage for the tshirts.

        • +2

Standard white is thin & wears out & printing fades quickly. Would not recommend.
Black is hard wearing & printing is very thick - printing lasts.

Since 2007 I have printed many VP T-shirts with my name in foreign languages for my travels. Local artists usually provide the characters, which are scanned & uploaded to be printed on black T-shirts & namecards plus pens, torches, thank you cards, etc to give as gifts. I clip a VP namecard into a scrappy souvenir Koala`s paws & people love it (costing 20c including the printing).

In Beijing's Summer Palace over 100 people called out "Hello Mr Bruce"! An effective travel aid considering my poor language skills & frequent travels.

  • Strange it let me use the voucher 4 times, maybe because I bought something which cost on one of the purchases?

    • I made 2 orders with an amount to pay on the items (only a few dollars) but no go on 3rd time - you must be lucky.

  • Placed an order but now I've run out of ideas! Anyone else have any suggestions for what I could put on the products?

    • Some nice looking models?

    • +2

Business cards with the call for world peace, to distribute on a rainy sunday afternoon in the city.

  • I realise that this isn't free (and with vistaprint putting up fake free sales all the time I don't think it's worth of its own deal) but I've noticed a few people that are buying a few things.

    http://www.scoopon.com.au/deals/40115/online---value-spend-o…

    $75 worth for $15
    $150 worth for $29

Also half price 14 day shipping.
