Grip and Go Universal Windscreen Mount for Mobile Phone/

I recently purchased this item from gripgo.com.au and i paid $39.95 plus $10 shipping
these things are fantastic!!!!!

When u buy online direct you have to pay for two and you don't get the choice of just buying one and paying less, in fact its clear that they are only worth $20 each but the direct tv site sells them as buy one get one free!!

This is a good way to get just one for $20 and shipping is only $5 Flat!

Great product i highly recommend it if you are looking for something to hold your phone solid in your car.

      $10 cheaper. 40% cheaper.

      these is no bargain here.

    • might want to search clingo too. same thing but in black. got mine for $20 delivered on ebay.

      its a pretty good product.

      cons:
      - its too sticky. it can rip my phone cover off my phone
      - it doesnt stand on the dash. you need to stick a circle plastic on the dash so that the suction cap can stick on it

      pros:
      - very very sticky
      - can fit a tablet if you want

add shipping cost in the title

  • I'm a little dubious as to how well these things hold. Mixed reviews on amazon, but mostly bad. Think I'll save my money

    • Mine holds like a dream.. love it.. i wouldn't have listed it if it wasn't worth it

  • This is just one of those stick pads on a phone/GPS holder.

    http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com.au/viewitem?itemId=1211073964…

Just buy that, same thing without the stand for $1

    • Those pads require you to place a piece on the back of your device, this unit does not require that.

      • +2

        Lol, no they don't.

        • -1

          My Bad.. LOL sorry
But they look totally different, i doubt these pads would hold the unit upright like this device does if it was on a mount.
But still not bad for $1… let me order a few LOL

        • They hold fine. In fact my iphone 3GS has got some bits of varnish on the back ripped off because the pads are so damn sticky and my phone is getting old. Once it's on, it takes a bit of force to remove the device.

  • Much more cheaper here: http://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?SearchText=grip+go&catId…
but i don't know weather is fake.

    • +4

For future reference, if its sold on aliexpress or alibaba then it's almost guaranteed to be fake. If your lucky though the knock offs can be as good as the real thing.

Also Brent'sbits should get a bunch of those, he seems to sell with quick postage and a low profit margin (not sock puppeting for Brent'sbits).

If it ever turns up! Been waiting 3 weeks for a HDMI adapter!

  • $24 at BigW

    • Link?

      • Read the only review on Big W… will save you money..

        • Well mine works so well, hence why i am recommending it
Fair enough some people will not like it, and thats their right
But mine works like a dream.. holds my phone well and does exactly what it was advertised to do.

    • Plus $8 shipping if you buy online so $32

      • Walk in..See it, feel it..Don't buy, save you $24

        • Fair enough.. except you cant feel it without taking it out of a sealed box

        • Best price has been posted in the very 1st comment! What exactly are you trying to achieve? If you are not a sockpuppeting rep, the best thing to do is to just accept the fact that this is not a bargain and move on!

    Sockpuppet much?

    • I dont work for them, if i did i would of clicked the box that said i did.
This came to me in my email, and as i have the product i thought i would share it.

  • not a deal

  • +3

if it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, and walks like a duck, chances are, it's a duck!

    • Well its a pretty awesome duck which is why i shared it :)

  • I have one and I'm not really happy with it.

Probably because it won't hold the iPhone 4S. Maybe if you have a lighter phone it might hold, but it goes against what you see on the TV ads, where the guy actually holds phones outside the window.

I have cleaned it with warm water but still won't hold as promised.

    Cheers

    • Mine holds my Iphone 5 in a Otterbox case,
It also holds my S4 in a case.. maybe i would be emailing GSD if thats where u got it from.. and getting e refund. I gave the second one to my work mate and she loves it too.

      • +5

You really do seem to be trying awfully hard to push this…

        • +1

Not pushing it at all matey
Just replying to the feedback given by others as a user of the product :)
Isn't that the point of this comment section?

  • Got this for free with purchase of a car charger in deal posted here months Back

Obvious sockpuppet is obvious and also cheaper as others have pointed out.

    • -1

Should i post my employment details to prove i am not a sockpuppet?
I work for a phone company.. i have no connection or affiliation with VIPweekly deals, or GripGo
I am just sharing a deal which i consider to be fair and good value.
Others have pointed out cheaper prices yes.. and that's good because it means my post might help someone who was interested get the best deal possible.

you have spent hours trying to convince us about this item's quality and price whereas it would only take you a few minutes(if not seconds) to find out the best price for this item, post it here and get positives for the bargain!
