Microsoft Explorer Touch Mouse, Dick Smith, $18.71

34

Dick Smith Click and collect a Microsoft Explorer Touch Mouse for $18.71.

I couldn't find any in Adelaide. But did a few postcode searches, some available at Canberra Airport, suburban Melbourne stores.

Goodguys: $34
HN: $48
Officeworks: $49.97

So it might be good as a price match if your local Dick Smith has no stock.

looks like the one I got from COTD for $15 delivered.

I'm inclined to say we should stop sponsoring Dick Smith deals that have little to no stock, unless someone can testify that there is a shop with heaps on the shelve.

Also: please update your URL to http://dicksmith.com.au/product/XH1374/microsoft-explorer-to…

    • Agreed. The ozB guidelines say at least ten units, unless it is a huge discount on a high priced item.
      e.g. the Nokia N9 I posted at $99 :-)

    Stop posting no stock items.

  • Closest low stock store is 65km away, no deal for me.

  • No stock!

No stock - not a deal.

OP even didn't provide a link.

  • Is this a nice mouse or just a pain?

    No stock in Sydney

    • Low stock in Chullora, did you call them or just search 2000 as the postcode?

  • +1

Yeah after doing a HN & cancelling my last order after taking payment, I wouldn't trust them.

Nothing within Melb/3000 area (Malvern "low stock" = no stock)

    • How HN related to DSE?

      • +3

He said they did a HN on him

Another Rare and Mythical item on Dicksmith.

  • I don't care what stock DSE has, i just print out the web page and go buy from Officeworks.
One of the few things M$oft does well is peripherals and $17.75 from $49.95 is a 65% discount, I'm happy.

Many shops will check for local stock and refuse to pricematch if you can't actually get the item from the other place. Will be a matter of time before they will refuse to pricematch Dick Smith.

      • Yes you've got to wonder if it's a strategy to hurt the competition through their price match policies. DSE can limit their exposure by only stocking a couple of items in every second store but the competition is forced to sell what ever they have on hand at a heavy loss…

There is stock in Cairns and Rockhampton. I know that most OzB users will be Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane but there are other people out there. Just because it isn't in stock in your suburb doesn't mean that deals shouldn't be posted.

    • You forgot the state which is propping up the economy…
