All natural with no bitter aftertaste

Though that doesn't mean the aftertaste is pleasant…

    • +2

I suppose you can't say until till you give it a go. It's free so give it a go.

    • Though that doesn't mean the aftertaste is pleasant

Agreed. This stuff is no better than any other, and I am buggered if I can understand why people think that any of them taste "sweet".

I reckon that they all just taste "fake", and prefer not to use anything at all rather than use artificial sweeteners.

      • It actually does taste better than the other "artificial" sweeteners, although still not as good as real sugar :)

  • Sounds good. aspartame is the controversial ingredient that is debated most often.

    • -1

Not controversial in medicine and science. Only controversial among an ignorant internet community.

  • I have been using Natvia for six months now, yes there is an aftertaste but I've got used to it. Better than poisoning yourself with sugar.

Sugar isn't poison, you silly thing. It's a FOOD.

Geeze some people get wierd notions, don't they? LOL

        • +2

Speak to someone that has diabetes and ask them what sugar means to them.

speak to someone with a peanut allergy and ask them what peanuts mean to them….
          peanuts must also be poison

        • +3

          Diabetes isn't an allergy.

We're talking sugar substitutes here, not peanuts. let's stay on topic.

        • and 100% of people who drink water will die too.
You can go round and round on this topic for ever

Sugar isn't poison, you silly thing. It's a FOOD.

Pure sugar is one of the worst food substances, but in moderation is fine
        It Cause's

        • Dental Problems
        • Metabolic Problems
        • Obesity
        • and so on

Complex carbs with a appropriate glycemic index is a better choice and with supply your body with the glucose it needs

        • our refined sugar never existed in the past.
it is not the sugar ancients lived on

        • it is not the sugar ancients lived on

neither is amost anything else we eat today (excluding fruit/veg but even most of those would be different due to selective breeding)..
Unless your cooking up brontasaurus steaks that is ;)

        • Dinosaurs and humans were not contemporaneous, despite Hollywood depictions.

But it's true many of the fruits and vegetables we eat nowadays were not yet discovered by European civilisation. E.g. no tomatoes until the New World was discovered. Imagine that, Romans didn't have tomatoes. Or potatoes,

Anyway a high sugar diet is bad, no need to revert to an ancient diet to justify that.

        • Dinosaurs and humans were not contemporaneous,

you're telling me 'The Flinstones' was not factual?

        • Yeah, was a blow to me too after lusting after Wilma.

Sugar can hardly be classified a food. Our bodies are designed to handle the small quantites of it that occur naturally - ie. a couple of pieces of seasonal fruit a day, not the refined, de-fibred powder that is added by the bucket load to all the processed rubbish and drinks.

        • that occur naturally - ie. a couple of pieces of seasonal fruit a day,

          Fructose u mean

        • +2

Fructose is sweeter than sucrose but is also bad in large quantities. The problem is not glucose vs sucrose vs fructose but that whole fruit comes with a lot of fibre which fills you up. Whereas processed food with added sugar and fruit juices are high in energy density so you end up with too much sugar in the diet.

Better than poisoning yourself with sugar.

Better use this if you are unable to be moderate with sugar.

There, fixed that for you. :)

  • Thanks OP :)

Isn't Natvia from Stevia? Stevia is a sweet herb. I have it growing in my garden & its leaves are quite tasty.

  • Choice has a reasonably good article here as well
