Not sure how fake wooden flowers are more "environmentally-conscious" when normal roses are already environmentally-conscious and biodegradable.

    NO, that's right, they don't. They die and the petals fall off, and they turn into compost, and so, Simba, welcome to the great circle of life. Wooden flowers don't fit into this circle.
