Is this advertising, or a really good bargain?

advertising… i wouldnt consider it a bargain for the majority

Pretty much just spam. Your getting a $10 dollar phone with at least one month (Min $60).

    • Actually you don't need to keep it for a month. Right after you get the phone you can walk out and walk back in, then ask for it to be disconnected as you no longer need the service.

Grow up. The handset is being included on a plan with no contract. Not a bad deal if you need a phone for a few months. It's clear that the dealership needs to increase their new connection target by the end of the month.

Not really, why not grab a Amaysim $39.90 unlimited or Aldi Prepaid and buy a cheap phone, rather than do credit check with those guys and pay $60 per months?

        • -2

Because they're not the Telstra network.

        • Aaaah Aldi as far as I am aware is on the Telstra network…

        • well, fair enough

  • Its only really a bargain if you plan to cancel shortly after receiving the phone.. even then I probably wouldn't bother. Phone looks very poor.

    • And it's locked to Telstra?

  • It's just advertising imo with a prepaid phone (http://www.uniquemobiles.com.au/telstra-t96-black-next-g) it would probably cost them like $20-$30 for the phone but they'd get more in that for the commission/new target bonus.

you've to be a fool to pay $60/m for that phone

    • But you aren't paying $60/m for the phone, you are paying $60/m for the plan and getting the phone free. There's no obligation to keep the plan.

  • NT is missing out big time

Ohhhh!!!!! Just get a kogan sim!!! If you hate TELSTRA too! + me!

    Wonder how many I get

    • -6

To the person who gave me a neg, I hope ur phone drops out when u need it most.

      • +3

It was I, i'm not with them, don't hate them either, hence the neg, nothing personal, you just asked for votes.

  • This is SPAM.
Sure you get a free phone but it's not much of a phone,I certainly wouldn't use it for business, also people seem to be missing the point that this is a business plan.
And don't forget the credit check.

    • Normally business plan they can earn more commission. i believe this is the point.

Never do business with AVP Solutions..
They are just a bunch of dodgy sales rep trying to reap as much as commission possible by lying to small businesses around Brisbane.
One of their rep by the name Sunny alter the paperwork after I signed it and I ended up with 10 mobile connection as opposed to just the one.

    AVOID AT ALL COST..!!

  • I don't understand there selling point, phone doesn't have wifi so that's increasing data cost as most business these days rely on emails on phone, even if you sign up just get the phone it's not even worth hassle with paper work, Maybe these guys should try posting on Gumtree

  • Spam, no deal. Crappy phone.

  • Only a bargain if the deal included a S4 :p

  • I heard this deal on the radio today, it's just thier new plans
