my apologies also to the elderly couple for their destroyed ears, maybe a cochlea implant can help them?

    • Heart attack. - Well almost. She was quite pale when she left the store. Gave me a mini heart attack too. Not sure about the state of her hearing aid.

  • Hi Rep, i noticed on your page it states

"THIS DEAL is for 5 units DELIVERED ie FREE SHIPPING

5 of these alarms - to your house $20. - They are so lound(??) you wont want to go near them if they go off!"

so I assume the deal is $20 and $3 discount for Facebook recommend?

  • So it's 5x a pack of 5?
"5x Wireless Home Security Alarm PIR Sensor FIVE Pack"
Got it in my basket, just want to make sure.

    • Sorry for the confusion - Just 5 units- Ill edit the title.

  • Great deal. Just purchased.

  • just purcahsed.
gave me a $3 discount for FB referal, so $22 delivered. great deal, but i'm wondering, when would it really be used?
you'd have to set it everytime you left, and it would probably drive you crazy when you forgot to disarm it….

    • Had to think about that too. But set them at night time, when away or use in the shed or camper trailer etc.

    • It makes a small beep when it's triggered - that should draw your attention - then you've got about 30 secs to disarm or you're in for it. I've installed one in the office as a door monitor(they also act as a door monitor - make a pleasant bing bing - when someone walks past - if it's in that mode that is). Wew set it before we leave because its HEAPs louder than our integrated alarm system. Ie it will kill the ear drums of anyone stupid enough to break in. Put 2 in the same room - to make sure their ears get obliterated.

What's with this hatred for human ears? ;)

      • (they also act as a door monitor - make a pleasant bing bing - when someone walks past - if it's in that mode that is)

"Pleasant" perhaps, but very quiet. I had hoped to put one near the entry to my house to act as a "no-touch" doorbell, but the quiet volume of the bell tone was a big disappointment.

There's no doubt the "alarm" is ear-splitting, but the "bell" is rather pathetic. I wish they had a volume setting option, instead of alarm=10/10, bell=0.1/10.

  • Thanks Rep. Got 1

  • Must be fun working for this company :P Love the logo.

Thanks! designed it myself. The addition of the genitals was the missing element - had a few giggles, wondered if I could get away with it, strangely not a single complaint. He's pretty well hung too. HAHAHA

    • Less the FB recommend (add it to your cart then click the facebook recommend button) - $7 (delivered).

  • Can I confirm. If I install 5 in the house I have to arm and disarm each individually or does one keypad control the all of them?

    • Confirmed on chat that the sensor has keypad on it so yes to arming/disarming each unit.

      • wowzer, not interested in arming each individually everytime I leave the house, might be okay if your leaving for an extended period though

        • Unsuccessful disarming all unit in alotted time = prisoner in your own home. Epic FAIL!

          "Shhhhh, don't move a muscle…"

        • +1

Well you don't have to install all the units. For me it works as I live in unit and will install 1 or 2 at most. Rest I will use for pranks :)

1 in bathroom with unsuspecting friend…. Hehehe

        • LMAO.. Having felt the shock of having one of these go off completely unexpected - and witnessed an elderly couple feel the same pain…HAHAHA. Im sticking one in the work toilet on Monday. This is going to be good!! :)))

    • i bought a bunch of these things off ebay to turn into trip alarms next to the fence so if anyone jumps over they walk through the fishing line pulling out the pin :)

  • Just a reminder - you all now have 1 more hour of free shipping store wide.

  • Thank you Rep! Didn't pick up this deal, but I did pick up enough AAA batteries to hopefully cover all the remotes in the house. http://junglejumble.com.au/panasonic-evolta-aaa-rechargeable…

  • Storewide Free shipping finished - Alarm deal is still active though (with free shipping).

  • Goodnight folks - thanks for your support.

  • Hi rep, is the lens pen that you are selling…..a genuine lenspen?

  • I have several of the remote-controlled model, which deliver an ear-splitting, high-pitched pulsating sound that feels like being subjected to some sort of noise weapon. It's a very 'electronic' sound, quite different from a conventional siren.

Not sure if these are the same, but should that be the case, keep in mind such a high-pitched noise doesn't travel very well. If one goes off in the garage, I'm barely able to hear it in my bedroom, and it certainly won't wake me from my sleep.
