Use one of those comparison shopping sites to check lowest prices first, but yeah, these guys can usually deliver next day if you order before 5pm and are cheaper than the HN/GoodGuys Types.

    • +1

They can also remove your old appliance for you.

      • +5

biggest rort. chuck on ebay for 99c and someone will remove by giving you $10

        • +9

How much is your time worth? I'd much rather not waste my time with photographing, listing, responding to questions, instructing the buyer where my place is, waiting for them to show up, dealing with potential disputes, paying eBay fees etc. if all I'm going to get is $10.

        • +8

$10 would be minimum. i've chucked up an old fridge and got $100 for it. 2 minutes to list it, answered a few questions and was home when someone collected. seriously, how hard is that? i bet you're on the couch watching tv every night anyway. what's the harm with picking up a laptop?

edit: u still have to be home for someone to remove it as well

        • +5

Agreed, definitely put it on eBay if you can. Not to mention it's good to recycle and let someone get some use out of your old appliance :)

        • i had some students buy fridge off me once and they expect to fit it in a small car by having it hanging out each door lol ..lucky for them there was someone around with a van nice enough to offer to move it for them

  • +3

    many times the cheapest

A bit of an exaggeration, I think. ;)

That said, Appliances Online are generally very competitive in terms of pricing and their delivery times and service have been excellent the few times I've bought from them. They also price match.

    • +3

Their Price match is a joke. They need price on the letter head. I have seen Local stores giving same price after a bit of haggling with free delivery and warranty. Better to check their price first before going to the local store.
I was checking them with Electrolux EBE510SCR model and they were expensive than the local store(Binglee) with delivery and Extended Warranty.

      • Agreed. Big pain price matching, may as well go to store.

      • Agree, few products are cheaper in binglee online. They also giving free delivery.

        Hi gagans,

We will honour our Best Price Guarantee and do not require a letter head or an office quote unless the price is well below our cost price.

Below are the terms of our price match policy:

Product and price requirements for a price match
Product for price match must be identical and brand new in the box (no seconds or Damaged Goods)
Product must be in stock or readily available with an Authorised Vendor (no auctions, group buying sites, daily deals sites, grey imports or whole sale distributors)
Product must be listed on the Appliances online or Big Brown Box websites
The price you want us to match must have been publicly advertised within the last 30 days
Advertised product must be freely available to purchase by any member of the public
We look at the final price. That means all fees and shipping costs. If the price includes services we don't provide, we will still match the price, but may not match the service.*

*From time to time there are prices that Appliances Online & BigBrownBox Pty Ltd are unable to match, in this case we will give you the best possible price we can.

        • Thanks for the reply. But I must have to admit that Applicances Online used to have great prices earlier. Now the stores are fighting back.
I checked in your Electrolux Bottom Mount 510 L prices and BingLee offered me lower price with free delivery for the EBMSCR model and it was local stock , brand new. Even Winning Appliances easily beat your price ( someone told me they are part of your business as well).

Stores don't advertise their best prices in catalogues these days, You have to personally go and ask for the best price.

  • Any idea when this expires? I need to buy a new frontloader washing machine for my new house, but cant have it delivered til next month. Any suggestions on model btw anyone?

    • +1

We got the WF1752WPC (Samsung 7.5kg front loader) from Appliances Online a couple weeks back. It's a good machine and was a fantastic upgrade for us.

You could ring them and ask about delivery next month, can't see why they wouldn't do that for you but your best bet would be to ask them directly.

      • Has it been recalled yet? Some Samsung washers are a fire-hazard.

        • As far as I'm aware, there were 4 top loaders made by Samsung which were recalled. No front loaders though and definitely not the model I purchased.

      • I had them match a catalogue price ($574 in November) to replace our broken old Whirlpool dryer (it weighed a ton, from around 2002 when they really weighted down the ones with fast spin speeds).

Free delivery/installation/removal is especially useful for VERY heavy whitegoods like the washers with concrete vibration dampeners.
The service was good from these guys and it wasn't hard to get the price match on a catalogue price.
So far so good on the washer. It's so much nicer and quieter to use than the old Whirlpool!

A really useful thread on WP, for anyone interested in the Samsung 7.5Kg 1752 washer:
        http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=2004793

This model is still in some catalogues. It's been on OzBargain several times and seems to be sold by most retailer chains.

      • I just bought one of this

    • -1

Expiry posted on the deal - 26/5. Guessing midnight, it did not specify a time.

    • The German ones made by Bosch are good

      • Bosch are no longer made in Germany. Last I checked they were made in Thailand. I own one :)

If you want a real German made machine, go for a Miele.

        • Bosch have a german-made range and a Thailand-made one. I think the german-made ones start at 8kg.

        • Not all Miele are made in Germany.

Some of the consumer dishwashers and other devices are made at their Czechoslovakia plant.

        • Bosch "premium products" are made in Germany and Poland. I recently bought their heat pump dryer WTY88700AU which is made in Poland

I bought a mattress from their sister site bedsonline and they were able to accommodate my request of an exact delivery date in a month (as I was moving in) and the timing too. Very impressed by this and it arrived spot on. Oh and they call you a day beforehand to confirm everything too.

      • +2

bedsonline and appliancesonline are not sister sites. I know the owner of bedsonline and they are not affiliated. Just thought I'd clear this up.

      • Hi jace88, just to confirm Appliances Online are not affiliated with Beds Online.

    • Hi goatus. The code expires on Sunday night at midnight AEST. If you place a purchase between now and then, we can organise any delivery date that suits you over the coming months (this is also an option on checkout if you choose not to call). As well as the other models that have been suggested to you, the Electrolux front loaders are extremely popular with our customers and receive positive feedback. Feel free to give us a call on 1300 000 500 to discuss further ^Gill

  • In the market for Clothes Dryer. Any suggestions which one I should buy & does appliances online has the cheapest dryers or any other store has a better sale on at the moment. Budget is under $500. Thanks

    • i purchased the electrolux 5kg for $395 from HN ($397 before discount from App Online). Can't complain. Definitely worth getting one with timer ability

    • Electrolux's warranty on their products is dubious. Check whirlpool and you'll find a long list of complaints.

    • it depends on how sophisticated you want your dryer to be mate.. Aldi got one for less than $300… I have Hoover for less than $300 .. bought it 7 years ago and still going strong.. use it just maybe a few times a month

    • I have the F&P 5Kg (DE50F56E1) which is also what @gotbean may also have and it is indeed awesome. There's no timer, so it stops when it knows the clothes are dry (which you control), I have mine at 'Extra Dry' most of the time and delay it so it does it early in the morning (9Hr delay). It was $400 from HN after haggling about 2 years ago.

      $429 ApplianceOnline - DE50F56E1
$398 Harvey Norman (ZOMG 2 hoyts movie tickets too!)
      $398 Masters

      Fisher & Paykel Product Page
      ProductReview

We also have a Bosch 7Kg my parents use but I think it was about $700

    • Just bought a Simpson 6kg for $379 delivered next day. Replaced old Simpson that lasted 10 years.

It was from aus-appliances.com.au (as appliances online was like $419) but take your pick from these:

      http://www.getprice.com.au/Simpson-39S600M-Dryer.htm

Very happy with it. Dries a 5.5kg load from our washing machine in a bit over an hour. Pretty quiet. Seems solid.

    • Hi shami000, you can find our dryers under $500 here: http://www.appliancesonline.com.au/vented-clothes-dryers/fil… - These prices are before the 5% discount is applied too. Feel free to give us a call on 1300 000 500 to discuss what would be best for your needs.

I've dealt with this company a few times and have always found them to be very good.

  • Masters have both the fridge and the dishwasher i want cheaper… also the coupon didnt work (but that may be just me)

  • Does this coupon work with V-Zug or Asko? If so, it'd be a real bonus!

Whats the best priced small split 2.5kw A/C on that site?

Looking for Panasonic, Fitjitsu or Mitsubishi but when i start comparing prices i find them cheaper at Harvey Norman. Anyone done price comparisions?

eg ASTG09LVCC is $967 at Appliances Online or $949 at HN. I know i get free delivery but i can pickup the system from HN for free.

I didn't neg you but don't be so lazy

    • have you been to good guys mate? i bought two from good guys - for $820 each see if you can beat me..

  • +1

Had a really bad experience with them. Sent out wrong item and it was difficult to get in touch with the customer service. Replacement was a nightmare.

  • any advise for 6lg Haier Dryer HDY60M? for 6kg dryer and under $256, i think it is very good price, anyone?

    • Good price

  • +1

I got my fridge and washing machine from them. Awesome service and especially with the washing machine the doorway into the laundry there was only a few mm on each side, I thought they would scratch the unit for sure but nope, extra careful. They even unpacked outside so none of the waste/packaging got in my house and took rubbish away.

  • +3

How is this a front page deal? 5%?

Appliances online refuse to price match if the price is too low. Bunch of dodgy bastards.

I tried getting them to price match a bricks and mortar store for a cook top and oven.
The guy originally tried talking me into paying more and buying from them & I stated only if they matched or beat the price.

They said it was too low and that I should go for the other store..

  • +3

Their advertised prices are lower than RRP but I've never found anything there I can't buy cheaper in a local shop with a little bit of haggling.

  • If you're in Brisbane try these guys.. I found prices were cheaper.

In the market for 2 units of Fujitsu small split A/C, HN and TGG both have better prices ($700s) without much haggling effort. This site list $900+ so their price is considered steep, not high.

    • -1

is that $700 price after the $200 fujitsu rebate? in this case.. you are not actually comparing apples with apples mate… price from appliancesonline is excluding $200 rebate

      • -1

I only realised your response. For the record; yes this is before rebate. I did mot state a pre-rebate price so dont assume I'm not comparing the same product/ price before rebate. DOH!

For the down votes, either you are a supporter of the rep or you simply are ignorant and dont ask around before spending your hard earn money. I've got nothing against the rep, just not a bargain and if you like paying extra, you shouldnt be reading Ozbargain.

  • was looking at led tvs and comparing prices to big brown box. funny thing, after a while i could hardly tell the two sites apart. any comments?

    • It's possible they are owned by the same company. A friend mentioned going to a company X (can't remember what it was called) saying that they found a price cheaper on Appliances Online, their response was that it's their company also but they would beat that price! Either way win win.

      • I can confirm that they are from the same company (source: their support)

    • Hi umyob, we are indeed owned by the same company. ^Gill

Thinking of getting the Dyson DC44 Animal.
Cheapest so far on the market - Goodguys for $447.
Here will be $425 after 5% discount.
Anyone own one of these? Getting mixed review but really want a good wand that can do the ceiling and spot clean the carpet and the rest.

  • +2

Appliance online used to be one of the cheapest place to buy white goods.
Now I find the usual HN and GG has finally caught up in term of prices.

I was looking to buy one these 2 fridges just last week
    http://www.appliancesonline.com.au/510l-westinghouse-fridge-…
1799 in apponline and I found it in HN for 1499
    and
    http://www.appliancesonline.com.au/450l-samsung-fridge-srl45…
1447 in apponline and found it in HN for 1299

Ended up going for the samsung as some ppl reckon the westi can be quite noisy.
