cut a barrel in half and sit it in a trolley

        • oh i see what you did there… :)

        • You would need something to carry them all out with though ;)

  • +5

Looks like it doubles as a shopping trolley as well.

    • could be hard to get around the garden but interesting in the yoghurt aisle.

What were you expecting at under $10 bucks? The rolls royce of wheelbarrows?

      Be realistic mate.

    • +2

I agree, I would count these as 'disposable". But even the Chinese wheelbarrow wheel would sell for $10+.

      • Its becoming more expensive to dispose of heavy items like this than it is to buy them in the first place!

Dig a hole in the gardern, throw it in, cover up.

          Done. :P

        • Stick it on ebay, people will pay to pickup and take your "rubbish" away.
Cheaper than going to the tip.

More waste in the dump to stuff the environment.

        • +4

          Please tell me you've:
-Drunk a can of whatever and always recycled every single can.
-Recycled all plastic bottles you've ever used
-Walked to the shops instead of drive
-Cycle to work instead of drive
-Not purchased anything just because it's cheap and you'd like a "spare" or something along those lines.
-Bought take away food in plastic containers instead of taking your own reusable ones.

If not. I'd like to say the same to you. Tsk tsk. Why are you so wasteful and stuffing the environment since you care about it so much?

zeomega, I wish I could +1 your post more

        • Thats stupid. Sounds like he uses the fact that nobody's perfect to justify being an ass. It sounds logical, but it takes place from an illogical standpoint.

No real problem here. Buy it, use it until its broken, then cut it up into smaller pieces and add it to the recycling bin. Ffs its just hdpe and steel. Am I missing something here?

  • Are these only in Thomastown? It's a bit of a drive to my local Bunnings to check.

    • Would also like to know this. Need a wheelbarrow for a single weekend, this would do the job but thomastown is quite a drive

Looks like the product code is 2970234. You could try your luck and call a local store.

      • +5

lol…. in this internet age I actually forgot about actually calling the store… seriously… :P

  • I bought one from Stratco a while back for $40, best thing I ever did and don't know how I lived without one before.
Only thing I had to do was buy a decent wheel tube for $10 as the stock one always burst

I think you might of stumbled upon another deal also. In the picture behind the wheelbarrows it looks like they still have some of the Ryobi ONE+ Li-Ion 18V Line Trimmer and Blower Kit from this deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/60961

    • Yep, very observant, a pallet load in stock @ $199.

I personally purchased one of these kits after the post from Stumo. Very happy with it. Bunnings seems to have the combo kit once a year and after they sell out, you are stuck buying the separate items.

As Stumo pointed out, the benefit of this kit is that it comes with the 2.8Ah battery with a battery level gauge in it, so better than the standard trimmer kit.

The blower, blows only, but is very light weight, I use in in conjunction with my larger blower/vac.

    • Also just noticed the charger in the Ryobi Combo pack is 3A as opposed to 1.5A for the standard charger.

I bought one of these from bunnings, chatswood (NSW) about 2 months ago when they were reduced to $25 but scanned in at $18.. More than capable of light duties around the garden, well worth the effort.
Hey for $10 it would make a decent planter box too!

    • Just been back to Chatswood and they have 6 on the shelf at $18.95 but they might price match?

Unboxed, half the work is done!

  • +1

Yep… i have one of these.. think i paid $20 6 months ago… moved a few cubic meters of mulch no problems.

I might get one of these to store all the things I get from tmart and dealextreme and other sites posted here !

  • I told a friend. He came and got the last one!

    • Lucky u…I got the 2nd last at around 1pm. Was going to grab both for Mom but she already had one.

  • first time I have seen a plasic wheelbarrow

    • +1

you haven't been to bunnings in the last 5 years?

  • As usual in W.A., behind the times and rip-off: saw these at the back of the store with a price-tag of $49.95 and they even stated "no box".
