Officeworks won't price match since they have no stock and are (supposedly) backordered. JB don't have stock in Melb. The Good Guys and DSE won't price match as it's below their cost. HN is your best bet, at least there is still a slither of stock around Melb. Good price as being < $300 it's fully tax deductable making it < $200 after tax if on 30% bracket. Even less if on higher tax bracket. New Nexus 7 will of course be better but won't come close to that after-tax price. That's if Google even release it before EOFY.
They do have stock in the warehouse. but then you have to add the 5.95 delivery charge.
Last week Fri. 17th it was $317, when I placed order,HN Chadstone Vic. offer expiring a few days later, no sign of it despite 3 phone calls, promises to call back - "one is coming from Melb city" - then it was Queensland, "it's superseded you see" on line they were available in Cranbourne. Then the price dropped to the $276 expiring today (available online Adelaide, briefly, now showing sold out!) 9 days later & 5th call from me, plus emailed complaint, wondering what is going on.
Hmmmm it's very tempting to buy this and sell my ipad 3…

Thanks OP, I noticed the Nexus 7 32GB was $239 at HN so I got OW to pricematch and ended up getting it for $227.05 :)
