    I read a lot of reviews and in the end bought the k400 instead of the k400r even though the 400 is older and cost a few dollars more. It seemed like a better match for a linux box.

        The non r version you could press alt-f4 to exit . The R version turns the f keys to media keys so to press alt f4 three key presses are needed (extra press a function key) .

    I couldn't find it on the JB site, so referencing an expired deal on a site that no longer has it is pointless (can't even price match, as it's the same price). Thanks to the OP, I've been waiting for a good price on this KB for my Win8 HTPC.

    price is back to 39. But there are several jbhifi stores with more stock. I price matched against jbhifi knox and got one for 29.50
