  • Found an issue, the Wedge Keyboard and Mouse are not listed in the Claim form! How can we do the claim?? Anyone tried?

    • Hope needs to contact Microsoft. Please see my previous comments.

      • I am still trying to chase up last year cashback. 2 items on one receipt and MS cashbask one only. sigh… :(

      • Just saw your comment after I post, I sent them an email, hope they will fix this soon~

  • What do you guys put in for BANK ACCOUNT NAME (Is this my personal name or name such as Everyday Account or Netbank Saver)? BANK NAME (I think I know what this is)? BANK BRANCH (What is this)? BANK ADDRESS? (What is this)

Also, do I need to redeem one per product? or one per receipt? what happened if i got few items on 1 receipt? Do I send the same receipt for all separate claims on same receipt??

    • For the bank questions…. You seem to know English?
Lol just kidding, name is your name, if you wanna put account name it normally doesn't matter. Branch is the branch u opened the account, address is the address of the branch

    • +2

I'll send you a private message with all the bank details you should enter in to your claim form. ;)

    • For ING Bank… May I knw what should I put for BANK BRANCH & BANK ADDRESS?

Thanks so much for clse945111 & eug

      • hmm, ING is "Branchless", you should probably put down another bigger bank's detail just to avoid more problems? normally the BSB number tells which branch it is, but the thing about ING is they don't have any.

      • +2

For branch and bank address, you can probably use the details from here:
        http://www.bsbnumber.com/

Just enter in your ING BSB. They don't have physical branches but they have a registered address somewhere.

        • -1

This is the sort of the information you should get direct from the source, i.e. your bank. Why do you want to trust some unknown third party site?

        • BSBs are no secret. It's like a post code.
          Another site: http://www.findbsbnumbers.com.au/

        • It's not about secret. It's about untrusted sites giving you the wrong information.

Similarly, if you need to look up postcode, go to the official AP website.

No matter what the argument is, there is no logic in searching untrusted third party sites when accurate information is freely available from the source.

Don't do it due to laziness.

        • +1

For some things yes, for others - it depends. For something as trivial as a branch address, I don't think there's any reason not to trust sites like that, especially since bank transfers work perfectly fine without the bank address anyway.

If the time you spend on hold isn't worth much to you, sure, go right ahead and ring up the bank. Some people have time to spare, others might not. To each their own. Life is about calculated risks, and this is barely a risk.

How many of you just use google to find postcodes, rather than clicking around auspost.com.au?

edit: for those of you who REALLY don't trust other sites, the APCA (who regulates BSB numbers) have their own lookup tool:
          http://bsb.apca.com.au/public/BSB_DB.NSF/publicBSB.xsp

        • I do not know what you are on about, it took me 2 seconds to find this link: http://www.ingdirect.com.au/about_us/faq/general_faqs.htm, which clearly states the BSB and mailing address for ING Direct.

Feel free to do what you do, but please keep it to yourself. Be responsible, please do not lead people to unknown sites for unverified information.

If you want to be helpful, spend the time, like you did with the apca link.

        • You sure wasted your time being unhelpful all this while. Why didn't you paste that link right at the start?

BTW, with all the spouting off you did, your 2-second information is incorrect. The OP obviously knows his BSB, he needs the branch address, NOT the reply-paid PO box mailing address. Your link points to a PO box, while the actual branch is Level 13, 140 Sussex St, NSW 2000. The first link I provided returns the same info.

If you want to be helpful, spend the time and actually provide the correct information.

    Just got one…

    26.Microsoft HD-5000 Webcam 61.54 OW$37 here @ MSY $35.15 after price matching @ OW, $17.15 after cash back**

Price matching is recommended and proven with non-participating in-store products from OW. Enter what you are after here and see where it's available for in-store pickup. Price match with OW with 5% less

Thanks Ronniefromdashore, ccwwayne, frewer,Calmerancer for ideas and for all others who voted and commented.

Updated the post with few options….

  • Will JB Hifi pricematch GreenBoxiT?

    Wireless Desktop 2000 = $21 after cashback

  • I got the Wireless Desktop 3000 ($48 at OW less price match discount). It's nice enough but I can't seem to turn the mouse off unless I use the wireless dongle and place it back in the recess at the bottom of the mouse. And there is no power off on the keyboard. This means I have to pull the dongle every time I want to turn off the mouse ?.

My old wireless HP mouse and KB both had hard off buttons. Or have I missed something ?

    • Why would you want to do that? I've got the same combo from MS deal a year ago too.

Both the keyboard & mouse go to sleep when not being used. I believe they use an unmeasureable amount of power when doing so.

As for batteries I've only had to change the keyboard once and the mouse ~4 times. It's excellent.

      • I guess that's kinda my point. Why have MS gone to the trouble of giving you a power button on the mouse and then the only way to hold the power button down is to use the wireless dongle to hold it in place. And all my bluetooth mice have dedicated power buttons as well. Anyway the low power usage is good to hear.
Just seems a bit strange that you can't actually turn the wireless devices off. For the HP mouse I'd had the same batteries for over a year since I don't use the media centre all that much.

        • Bluetooth devices will drain themselves of power if not turned off.

I suspect newer bluetooth protocols and lower powered devices will have improved this though.

  • 17.Microsoft Lifecam Studio RRP $79 Price match option 2: from OW: with $62 @ MSY can be price matched @ OW for $58.90 after cash back $28.90

Price matching with nonparticipating stores where it's cheaper, is strongly recommended.

    • I got OW Aspley to price match Megabuy, came to $54.87.

      -$29.99 cashback = $24.88.

  • In number 18, price match option 1 comes up as $49 for me. Is this an error OP?
    Edit: its the 5% right?
Edit 2: even so, the Office works price match policy takes into account delivery, so I think the price match linked in option 1 for item 18 is wrong? Alternatively use MSY at $49 for physical store price match (minus 5%).
    http://www.msy.com.au/Parts/PARTS.pdf

    • Here, Price match options are based on in-store pick-up. in Eva teach, it's sais, Fast Nation Wide Shipping is available or In-Store Pick-up (subject to availability). Is it not available for in-store pick?Prices are after cash back prices after the price match. Yes you can price match with MSY.

      • My point is, the link in Item 18 option 1 is a web shop price. OW price match includes shipping, but this is not reflected in the price quoted in the OP thread for option 1.

        • Didn't you see ''In store pickup from Clayton South, Victoria (3169) is free''?
Then, I believe you can order online it for $49 and pickup from store free. Go to OW and show them this, they will price match regardless of which state you are in.
          Go with this as well
At least one store here have price less than MSY($49) and can pickup from in-store after ordering it online. please check it out. I show some people have done price match with mega buy even.
They don't ask many problems. just show them the price list in staticice, they usually do.
          Good luck.

  • The MS Wedge Mouse and Wedge Mobile Keyboard which were missing from the redeem page is now listed.

  • Bought a MS Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 for $22.45, price-matched another one with Officeworks down to $21.33, going to claim $ 23.99 cash-back each

    • Huh? Doesn't OW/JB/HN/etc sell for $78? MSY/Centrecom for $45?

How do you get it for $22?

  • thanks OP
    perfect timing, new wedge keyboard!

  • Anyone know what to do with multiple claims? I have 3 items on the same receipt, so do I use the same receipt with multiple claims?

Hi, the wedge mouse is lowest now at JB: http://www.jbhifi.com.au/computers/accessories/microsoft/wed…
for $39. With cashback, it should come to around $15. That's about $7 lower than the current lowest.

    cheers!

The wired 600 keyboard in white seems to be selling for $5 at OW now. There is still some stock around west ryde and I just picked up 2 from my local store.
    http://www.officeworks.com.au/retail/products/Technology/Com…

    • Can earn $1 then.

    • just returned mine bought last sat for $7.97… and buy straight back for again

      • Its $4 now still in stock at a few OW stores :)

  • DSE has Explorer Touch Mouse on clearance for $18.71, I got Officeworks to do a price match guarantee brings price to $17.75 and the rebate is $14.99 so $2.78 each…sweet

  • So, while I was filling out my claim forms, and all they ask me for is what product I purchased, something occurred to me. What is to stop me from returning the keyboard and mouse tomorrow? I mean, do you think Microsoft will check to see if the product was returned?

Where to find the "Wireless Xbox 360 Controller for Windows" for rrp $49.95 ?

This at JB and DSE cant be it cause its above the rrp, so must be a diffrent version?

    http://www.jbhifionline.com.au/game/xbox-360/xbox-360-genuin…

      • sweet thanks, don't know why i couldn't find it on HN site first time :p

        • remember to Price-match with MegaBuy, either Harvey Norman in-store, or buy on-line and call their customer service tomorrow for price-difference refund.

    • Those are the wrongs ones..

      you need the

Wireless Xbox 360 Controller for Windows
      JR9-00012 $ 49.95 $ 14.99

      Xbox 360 Controller for Windows
      52A-00003 $ 39.95 $ 11.99

Both of which are is very limited supply… I think they may have been discountinued a while back

They are specific Xbox accessories labelled for use with windows… (although they work for the Xbox 360 as well)..

Strangely enough.. they were always cheaper thant he xbox 360 counterparts..l alhtough, the wirless came with the additional adaptor…

you can get them directly for $36 and $25.50 from Gocomp http://www.gocomp.com.au/index.php?cpath=product&catpath=0_1…

The megabuy instructions are very misleading given purchasing from them is not eligible for the cash back..
      http://www.megabuy.com.au/microsoft-jr9-00012-xbox-360-wirel…

      • Yeah i saw in jb with a red cover box and windows logo, those look like the right ones

      • Why is the MegaBuy part linked to by ccwwayne the wrong one? Part # seems to be the same. Shipping is killer though, $15.95 to 3000.

          From the site

Participating stores for the offer are the DERNI Group of stores (Harvey Norman, Domayne and Joyce Mayne), JB Hi-Fi, The Good Guys, Dick Smith, Officeworks, Big W, Myer, Bing Lee and David Jones.

The part is fine but the store isn't eligible - its only good for price matching.

        • Thanks. I can't seem to find the wireless controller in any of the participating stores though, how about you?

  • so, you can only make three claims?

  • For multiple claims, can you send them all in one mail or do you need to post them separately?

  • U-Mart now has the Wedge mouse listed for $29, which OW will pricematch ($27.55) so $3.56 after cashback!

  • I just staticice pricematched Wireless Mouse 4000 from JB Hifi for $22. Hoping I get a $12 cashback to make it total $10!
