I just ordered two Microsoft Mice.

Why do you need 2 ?

    • +14

Maybe he/she has more than one PC?

      Mind blown?

      • +43

1 for me, 1 for my cat

        • +6

          My cat says you're cool.

  • Dunno if this is worth it or not:

    http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:8i0p_lg…

    Laptop Bag X&Y 15" - $9

  • I find the T&C a little bit confusing from Microsoft:
"* Participating stores for the offer are the DERNI Group of stores (Harvey Norman, Domayne and Joyce Mayne), JB Hi-Fi, The Good Guys, Dick Smith, Officeworks, BigW, Myer, Bing Lee and David Jones. Purchases made from auction or bidding websites and from Australian and overseas online retailers are not eligible. Back-orders and products awaiting arrival/delivery are not eligible for this promotion."

as DSE is an Australian online retailer, so i'm wondering does that exclude it from cashback or include it still since it is still a participating store

    • +1

I think Microsoft means, Online Only (Australian & Overseas) retailers. Eg. Ozgameshop.com and dealsdirect.com.au etc

  • +1

M82: All of those stores are online retailers, in addition to physical stores.

Last year I bought a Keyboard from HN online and got the cash back

    • +2

      thanks nismo

      so if you buy http://www.dicksmith.com.au/computer-accessories/microsoft-s…
      is this the Sculpt Mouse (Bluetooth) 6PL-00005 $ 59.95 $ 17.99

then it would only cost about $6 after cashback? (plus postage and max of 3 items)

      • +2

I don't see why not, product code matches and DSE is a participating retailer.

        • good point, thanks :)

I don't get why the free delivery is not working on orders over $50

If all items are in-stock, then I can't work it out either, sorry.

There's nothing in the fine print to say the 40% off items are excluded. Call them up tomorrow if you can wait

        • thanks :D yeah I think I can wait as they have over 200 of that item available

      • Is that really the same product? I cannot seem to find the sku number?

        • Yeah it's a bit annoying DSE don't have always the sku numbers listed, only their own. But the product itself is listed (on MS Cashback) & looks the same as this one on Microsoft's store

  • Did anyone see any good earphone deals? Need a partially decent one for like $10.

    • think the 40% off is already applied in the advertised prices, not extra. they won't be that cheap.

      • They were that cheap lastnight but they changed prices today

        • oh wow. i was wondering where the prices came from. too bad would have been a good deal. why did they put the prices up!?

        • i'm not sure …maybe they forgot cashback deal still going so there was no need to discount themselves …they shouldn't advisetise today as part of sale as it is no longer truely 40% off, don't know if that is false advertising now

i was going to try price match OW today haha, damnit

        • +1

i see thanks. yeh they should remove it from the advertising. oh well guess i have to go with HN for the keyboard. at least this post reminded me it ends today.

  • Is the plain black Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500 included in the cash back?

    • I think the mouse is grey and black and might be 'loch ness' on cashback list

    • I wasn't 100% certain initially, but I checked the product code (model number under DS specs) and it's exactly the same as on the MS List of eligible products: Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500 - GMF-00006

  • you need to mail for cash back.. if i buy the microsoft 1000 mouse, how much do i actually have to pay?

    • Upfront you will pay $11.98 either online + shipping (mine was $4.95 total shipping) or go into a store and pay $11.98 - assuming they have them.

When you get the cash back from MS, you will get $7.49

  • Has anyone received the money from ms?

    • -4

yes, lots of people, you can donate here…

      https://www.mssociety.org.au/donate/msra/Default.aspx

      it's a great cause.

    • I think you already asked that in the other post? The Claim Period isn't even finished yet. From memory I got last years $ in August

      • +1

At least you didn't have to wait about 4-5 months like with Western Digital !!!

      • Thanks

    • I did last time, worked well

  • some mouses and keyboards are not available for pickup. if i buy online now. maybe they will delivery and print the receipt after 5/7/13 and cant get the cashback, is that right?
or I use the receipt in the mail?

    • There is no Click & Collect for any of these 40% off items. Purchase date & delivery date are 2 different things altogether. You just need to purchase on or before 11:59pm on 5th July as specified by Microsoft.

Your receipt or invoice date is what matters.

Also items need to be in stock

  • Perhaps I should have made it obvious, that this is kind of a last opportunity to get the MS cash back, as it finishes in 24 hours

  • +4

They put the microsoft prices up today so kind of expired deal

    • +1

Agree, tempted to neg this deal but… will not

  • +1

    Wow!!! prices randomly increased

  • SO ANNOYED!
Awesome deal on the Logitech K800 keyboard. Added it to my cart, went to purchase but couldn't log in because DSE had "recently upgraded our system and your password has been reset".
So I buggered around through the password reset procedure and finally logged in, then had to update all my personal details which had been blanked as well.

By the time I finally got through the whole procedure the keyboard was out of stock! >:(

    • +1

      Still some there…

  • aww not all the keyboards on sale.. i like the mk710.
wonder if Officeworks will price match UMART

    • Hmm I wonder if it's a typo, since it says item, rather than items. I definitely paid shipping the other day, $4.95. There is the free shipping for over $50 this weekend that somebody else has posted.

It also says Dick's Daily Deal, which goes for about 4 days

I have also spotted the occasional Click & Collect item even though it says C&C not available.

      Lots of mistakes really

  • Ah I think it means the 40% off stuff isn't excluded from qualifying for free shipping, maybe?

  • I bought an keyboard wedge but they did not send me the tax invoice, only order number, sent many email but not respond. :( , no way to send the cashback form

    • I just received my Tax Invoice (and order update) via email, purchase date is 4/7/2013 on mine so all good here. They can't change the purchase / transaction date (assuming you paid straight away), you'll only have an issue if they cancel your order for some reason.

  • Pretty good deal, providing you could actually find stock at your local DSE (most of the discounted stock was already close to being sold out at my local DSE's even before the sale).

Grabbed a 3500 Wireless Mouse and some Philips SHL3300 headphones.
