    Call Confirmed stocks

nice to see people checking stocks before posting dodgydicks deals :) good work.

  • Thanks OP. Been on the lookout for a good headset!

  • Good deal but the headset is out of stock in VIC :(

  • I have a BH-112 and although they look a little goofy, they are actually a comfortable nice little headset. I keep one in the car on a cig-jack usb charger so it is always ready to go when I am on a trip. I have got headsets worth a lot more. None are as reliable as this. It's a basic little ripper.

  • Non in immediate Sydney

Do you also vote down deals on restaurants because they aren't located next door to you?

    • Store I was in yesterday shows no stock but they are there in the clearance bin.

  • nice find…but dont have any time to go to nunawading recently =(
good find though. thanks for sharing!

  • .

    • There was click and collect at Sunbury but I checked again and it now says out of stock so I removed my comment.

      • i think that is normal, everything sell quickly when posted up here… Nunawading now says out of stock aswell

  • I just got a Canon IXUS 130 IS for $21 at Albany dicksmith :) they had 2 left when I got mine today.

  • Prepare for the amazingly cheap laptop clearance coming when we hit Haswell!!

in true ozbargain spirit and in the name of science, I went out to grab the lapdesk for my own review.

I became a fan of single USB connection speakers ever since trying out the z205 to replace mum's broken laptop speakers. These type of usb speakers are no joke, Logitech gets it right where China eBay has failed. The magic is simple, the price you're paying for is an integrated USB PnP soundcard plus a pair of decent speakers (your laptop soundcard is not needed), hence why it was able to do single USB connection instead of usb+stereo cable. USB speakers from ebay will force you to connect one cable to your laptop's headphone jack and one to USB, making them cumbersome with wires.

Onto sound and loudness, I would say these are LOUD, for a small room I would hardly need more than 35% of the total volume and ideal non intrusive listening would be around 15% (windows 8). On sound quality, these won't compare with simple 2.1 setups due to the lack of bass though clarity/treble is on par, but for the portability and no requirement for external power, the advantages greatly offsets these setbacks once you get it into action.

These will go well for those on the 10-14" ultrabooks or netbooks and needing more oomph on their mp3's.
I will be looking keenly on the lapdesk N700 if it ever goes on sale.

  • Can anyone confirm if the BH-112 will work with a Nokia N9? Don't laugh… I've never used bluetooth before.

    • I can't speak from first hand experience with the N9 but the BH-112 works fine with the iPhone 4s and Nokia 3120c and I think it would work just fine with the N9 too (the N9 has bluetooth). Generally speaking, bluetooth is supposed to be a universal standard although a few exceptions are to be expected.

      • Thank you. Tried my local store today and they think the one that is showing on the computer has been stolen, so I think I might be out of luck in getting one of these.

  • I got two BH-112s at Rosny Park DSE (Tassie) yesterday. One black, one white. They had the following colours left:

    1 x white
    many green
    many pink
    many blue

All marked as being on clearance as $11.xx. They scan at $9.98. Having open oned up and lightly tested it out they seem to be compact and well made.

  • Anyone found any in NSW, somewhere around Sydney region?

  • seems like only stock left in victoria are like a minimum of 100clicks out… any fellow ozbargainers in taralgon, sheperton / hastings/ mornington willing to perform a post out to us? :) I don't mind providing the express postal envelope :D

  • Launceston has a pink Nokia Bluetooth device in the bargain bin next to the till for $9 as of 11am this morning.
