  • So many refurbished mobiles out there, what going on !!

    • Must be customer returns, not a good sign ether way for such a new phone.

  • Ooooh, tempting.
The screen on my current Android had a 'burn' on it last weekend, my wife noticed it and suggested that I needed a new handset. But it disappeared and is now as good as new and she noticed that too!

You have a very observant wife.

    • You weren't fast enough… A couple more years of experience and you'll be able to follow her directions before the words are out of her mouth - at least those directions that end up with you having a new toy :)

  • How does this compare to the S3? should i snap this one up or hold out.

Also does it include GST, ie can i claim TRS??

    • The main benefit that the S3 has over the HTC One X+ is the microSD card slot, this however isn't a big deal, considering that this device has 64GB of internal storage.

This price does not include GST, we only charge GST on Australian orders over $1000.

Looks like they are the imported ones. So you cannot claim TRS. Warranty will also be provided by the retailer rather than the manufacturer.

  • Brand new at Telstra shop at Westfield Sydney CBD was $399 last week..

This was their normal price and not a special..

Not sure about it being locked or storage size..

Edit - Was it One XL or One X+.. Now im confused…

    • Telstra does not sell the HTC One X+, they only sell the X / XL.

  • OK, so call me a noob, but what does "7 day refurbished" mean exactly?

  • Tegra 3 no thanks.

From an Optimus 2X and Motorola Xoom, to a Nexus 7, I have never been impressed by the performance of the Tegra 2 or 3 and find them a great disappointment, even overclocked. Does not compare to the competition.

Save your money and get something well known instead, S3, S4, Nexus 4, etc.

    • I had an One X and I sold it to get an HTC One, cause Tegra 3 is just horrible - Slow + so freaking hot, when I used the One X for 10mins while charging, it could go over 50 degrees…
Now the One isn't hot at all compared to the One X, Qualcomm's CPU is definitely better than others at this stage.
